Anyone live in RENO? Camp Ellipsis
Camp Ellipsis is a large scale sound camp, with dj's and fire dancers. We are looking for anyone in the Reno area (or not) that might want to contribute to the experience. I am looking for artists, dj's, dancers, fire performers (any kind), or anyone that just wants to help.
We also could use any shelter, props, or art. We have a large dome, but must construct a new top and could use all the help we can get.
Anyone willing to help would be greatly rewarded!

I'm in Reno, and I think one of my friends camps with you guys. I have my own camp, and I'm pretty attached to it, but I'm always happy to help out. Money's tight, so I can't so much do donations, but I'm all for manual labor and things of that nature.

Names pinemom, but my friends call me "Piney".
Howdy. I'm in Reno and would be interested in helping out and camping with you. I've met you briefly a couple of times and know a lot of the same people you do, including those already involved with your camp.
This is my 9th year attending so I know the ropes. I'll probably be arriving Thursday afternoon and staying through Sunday. Email me at [email protected]

I'm hitting the playa on Saturday for set-up. I don't think it's going to take two days to set our camp up though, so I would be more than happy to lend a hand when we get done. Just drop me a line with your location whenever you know it.

Sweet! We're 9:00 and G so it won't even be far to trek. I'll come try and find you guys on Saturday evening. Our camp is small and I'm thinking (based on previous experience) that we'll have it up before sundown. Any landmarks or specific cars to look for, since it's always hard to identify camps before they're actually set up...

Excellent. See ya out there! I have short pink hair now, in case you're wondering who the random chick wandering in and helping set up your camp is. And my name is actually Miki, not Jezebel. I don't do playa names, so you'll only hear me called Miki (or occasionally asshole). Who should I ask for?

A big Up for Ellipsis and the Reno/Sacramento/Washington crew! Thanks for putting in on guys and thanks for letting us camp with you.
I spun Friday night on the art car from 9-Midnight, loads of fun but very challenging. I was using a Serato MP3 setup with vinyl, everything was fine until we actually started moving. I had to switch to internal mode on the laptop and mix that way, which I wasn't used to. Everything turned out OK and we had a blast. Working on re-creating my mixes I did that night with the same tracks, but here's a dubstep mix in the meantime.

Thanks again and see you next year.
