RENO/ VEGAS Coolers for Rent

Post by we0ne » Tue Jul 29, 2008 1:36 pm

HI all,

I am coming from Yukon Canada. Not an option for us to bring coolers with us. The last few times we were at BM we bought brand new coolers and had to give them away after the burn. They giving away part is not my problem, nor is the cost of the coolers. What I don't want to do again is consume 2 more brand new plastic coolers this year when I know that there are 1,000's of people who have them and aren't using them.

So, looking to rent 2 fairly large size, playa durable coolers from someone in either Reno or Vegas. I will pickup and drop off before and after burn and replace in full if they are damaged (which is very unlikely)

If anyone can help me out that would be awesome! Thanks for helping to reduce the amount of plastic in the world.

Cheers,
Skyneedle

Hi there, I'm from Reno & have never seen coolers for "rent". You might want to continue to purchase them and donate to Salvation Army or something afterwords. They can always use that stuff. Evil Wal Mart has good sized extreme coolers for around $40.00.
Enjoy your burn !!

HI Boijoy,

Do you know of any friends, family or neighbors that own coolers who aren't going to the burn and won't be using them during this time period? Maye I could rent from them. I was thinking more of a personal rental then looking for a store/business that rents. I hate purchasing new plastic, that's the issue

Buy them and send them home with burners who need them? That way they won't have to buy new plastic next year.
