Yikes!!

Really need to get on Eplaya more often.

After overheating my boat at the DooDah Parade earlier this year I finally have a new engine in it.

If there's still room for another MV, I'm in :D

More boats would be great! Remember to bring lines and fenders so we can tie up.

A lot of newer paper is uv responsive.
Try 100% cotton paper.
I can't remember if it will work or not.
There are some that will do what you want.
You could go to a paper distributor for printers and look around.

Six hours trying to load that page and I never could see the whole clock.
That's on roadrunner 6 mb.
What did you do to that page?

I found my black light strobe the other day.

I didn't get a MV license (kinda relieved actually) so the Golden Behind will be permanently anchored at Bomb Bay Tea Co. (Yes, building an anchor now.)

Anyone know where I can get some little guys in funny hats?

Yea that's the problem I was having. The paper glowed under black light.

I have been working on other projects. So I guess it's time to get back to this one.

Well the two large pictures are something like
4469 pix width 5135 height 1187.09kb and a 4469 pix width 5135 height 1090.09kb

Are you saying that you want to be listed on the pub crawl?
Or are you just using the thread to promote your own event without any interest in being involved in the Playa Time Pub Crawl?

it looks to me like the dmv is looking to host a night cap.
i suppose that means that if they knew about it maybe they would like to be included in the pub crawl.
ive been watching this thread since you guys started b/c i thought it was a cool idea but since i have no pub camp nor an MV to call my own, i really had nothing to contribute.
Not *my* event. just thought it might be of interest for some MVs on a crawl to stop by.
if its not dont come.
No need for snap.

Let's get SPUN!

Post by tubahurl » Wed Jul 30, 2008 8:40 pm

Hey all,

Here's an update on the "TUB". After much testing, and a little nausea, the tub nears completion. For those who are willing to test their mettle, are all welcome. Through much scientific analysis, the full on rinse cycle seems to produce a little over two G's of centrifugal force. Are you ready....................to HUUURRRLLLL!

tubahurl.net has the latest video, keep in mind it's six feet in diameter and seats 6-8.

The Hottie Night Cap is a simple way to show your appreciation of the fine folks that volunteer for the DMV.

Show up somewhere between 10 and 11pm at the DMV. Hang out for a little bit. Then take the DMV staff on a cruise. Consider it an MV/DMV social done Playa style.

They work hard all year to make sure the BLM continues to let us all drive our MVs out on the playa. And after a long day of doing paperwork and dealing with stressed out MV owners they need a drink.

Plus they're super uber cool.

No, UBER. As in "above all".

Are the gates open yet?

My german is very weak, but I would translate it as over with over all being über alles.
The connotation of ultra or super seems to apply when it is used as a prefix in a compound word, like überrat, although it seems to be used for super as a separate word in english, especially by gamers.
I could be wrong.
Obercool just seems less awkward to me.

Are the gates even up yet?

Yes Gyre, "Über" has been stolen by geeks and gamers to mean "super".
What is uber in yiddish?

Badger the Übermensch
Arrrggg!! Avast ye fucking fluffy bunny shirtcockers! Haul your drunken hairy fat ass out of our sight or prepare to receive a hot buttered hedgehog fired up your aft quarters!

Honey Badger don't care. Honey Badger don't give a shit!

I have heard of uberchuchem, and I think uber acts as a superlative in that case.
