I used to live with a Czech woman whose brother not only made killer boozemelons but also carved them into intricate parodies of Ukrainian Easter eggs.

the real trick with booze melons is that there are special watermelons that grow to only the size of a cantaloupe, and their fruit is yesllow and fairly seedless. you cut a golf ball size hole in the top, stick a spoon in and dislodge (dont mashe it to much) the fruit on the inside w/out taking it out. squeze in some lemon or lime, and mix in vodka. YUM YUM YUM
