Thanks Dave! How do you get your marker onto the Google map though??
A plan is what you vary from.

Destiny Lounge 3D will be at Bradbury and 3:15 this year as a part of the 404: Village Not Found group of camps! Come see us!

Oh! The map... I thought it would do it automaticly. Odd.. The numbers don't seem to mean anything. Hmmm...

yeah... guess whoever runs the site has to manually update it. I can't see any way to do it from the page. Thanks though, badger!

It's the address you used. I joined your camp and I can edit the address.
It just does not recognize the portal as an address. try using "A" or Esplanade.

Hey Guys,

Thanks for checking out WhereAreYouCamping.com, glad to hear you like it! Yeah, I'm the guy in charge of making that site happen so feel free to blame me for anything that goes wrong with it :)

WAYC uses a pretty simple algorithm to try and figure out where an address actually falls on the map. Right now it would recognize street names, plazas and center camp but as MozyBonz mentioned above it doesnt know about keyholes or about the wheel. For now, you can get around it by using the closest street name and you'll get a pretty close location on the map.

hope this helps and please feel free to contact me if you have any other questions! my email's on the site.

This is what I get for trying to be clever while still being lazy... now they're back to being unmapped until i decide to figure out how to place people on the wheel.
