How Return to Reno before the end of BM ??

Hi everyone ! :P

Un petit bonjour from France

With my cousin we'll going at BM 2008 and our plane arrived in Reno the 24th. But we have to go back to washington before the end of BM because our plane to france is reserved since a long time.

How came back to Reno from bm the 28th in the evenning ?

I see there is some bus who make the travel between bm and empire but how to continue to reno after ??

Or are they trucks who make the journey between reno and bm during the event ?

You are gonna have a rough time getting out of there on Thursday, but it can probably be done. Check the rideshare board first to see if anyone is leaving on Thursday (we had some campmates leave Thurs one year to pick up some friends and come back, so it does happen). If you can't find anything on line then you just need to do a whole lotta canvassing when you hit the playa. Make lots of friends, volunteer to help out, and ask EVERYONE if they know anyone leaving early who has some extra room. Have a back-up plan in place just in case it doesn't work out. There is internet access on-playa if you need to contact the airline, but don't count on being able to call anyone. Good luck and happy burn! Maybe I'll see you out there.

what she said and also this...we will be picking up people in Reno on thursday evening, we could probably take you on the way there, as we will basically have an empty vehicle. see Simon at Root Society corner of 10 and esplanade but COME EARLY IN THE WEEK so we can coordinate time & place etc. chances are the car will leave after dinner.

Be sure to check with as many people in the burning man departments as you can.
Someone will be making a run into reno at some point.
It may come down to being at the gate with your stuff ready to go.

Why don't you check with the airlines and see if you can move your flight a bit later?
They sometimes do it at their convenience.
The sooner you ask, the better chance you have, I think.
