Will there be a communal message board (corkboard or dry erase) in one of the boob's for folks to leave messages for others (i.e- camp addy's, ideas, words of whimsey
, etc.)? I know the (o)(o) owners's are weighed down with those 320 size Double D's, so I would bring one if want, but don't want to be re-duh-dant if there is already one. Let me know

I have a corkboard. It isn't massive, but it's real and you can hold it in your hands and put things on it. Want me to bring it and place it somewhere nice? I'll get some tacks for it as well. Hopefully nice big ones that aren't easy to become MOOP.

Last year you were at the mercy of someone else's offer to carry the boards in their art car - this year you have your own art carthisisthatwhichis wrote:Nick, Did you have a time in mind for the procession?
So you get to choose!
I do have that smallish A-frame corkboard/whiteboard thing I told you about right after we got back from last year but having a big cork board out front seems to be a big invitation for MOOP problems. (It would be nice to not have people write that stuff on the CANCER boards though).
Agreed. The CANCER boards aren't the best place for messages like "hey I'm over here at this place" but corkboards are scary for MOOP issues. Maybe we could have all the pins glued/tied to strings that hang from the edges of the board so that they don't get lost? That doesn't help us with the paper that gets put on the board but it is something. I'm cool with whatever. I'll leave it home, or bring it.. We could also just use the back of it, with some butcher paper and some pens. Pretty easy to manage, easy to change messages out mid week if needed, and even save old messages if they were needed. The much larger paper sizes would be much easier to maintain.Nick Collide wrote:Last year you were at the mercy of someone else's offer to carry the boards in their art car - this year you have your own art carthisisthatwhichis wrote:Nick, Did you have a time in mind for the procession?![]()

Yah, we can do something. It would be best to get a white board though. Those are so much more convenient and fun. We could also just use a guest book, which would really simple to keep track of MOOP wise, and would be a pretty neat keepsake to boot.Nick Collide wrote:Maybe we could have it inside the bar on the lounge side. At least then the wind (is it going to be windy this year?) wouldn't wreak havoc with dozens of scraps of paper...
