...but couldn't find an answer specific to my question. This is a very similar tent to the one I have (mine has a little more tent wall between the mesh)

I am thinking of just taping the bottom of the cover to the tent. Will this keep most the dust out AND act as a good enough shade/insulation... seeing as it would sit a few inches away from the tent? I dont mind some dust and will cover all my stuff every time I leave with a sheet.
