Has anyone received their Disabled Vehicle acceptance/invitation email from the Hotties?

Do you have to be preapproved for a disabled sticker? Used to just give them out when you bring your blue placard.

yes, i received my disabled vehicle invitation a couple of weeks ago. and yes, you are supposed to fill out an application and be invited to bring your vehicle to be inspected, just like the mutants.

Sadly I am not kidding. I built a hand controls golf cart for a disabled camp mate. I replied to a "no personal vehicles" letter from the dmv with what the situation was and haven't heard back since. I think I'll email them again.

I missed out last year because I didn't follow up on the application. You must follow up and stay on top of them if you want that disabled permit. If they don't get the application or it gets lost in the mix yer fucked. Sadly I did not know you have to stay on top of them and I didn't attempt to apply until a little too late so the motorized wheelchair had to stay home since I never heard back by the deadline.

If you don't have the paperwork, it used to be possible to still get a permit, but it was more or less trouble depending on when you arrived and might involve leaving things in coventry until the paperwork was done.
If you have the official placard or plate from your state, or other official paperwork from the state it probably is not too difficult.
If you need this, I would still contact the dmv and bring all paperwork you have with you.
The primary requirement is state certification for a license for disability.

It's correct to apply BUT.. If you have personal disability transport and you are denied for any reason you are a rich person..

The Fed Disabiliy Act is all you will need..

The main reason for the app is to help weed out the dead beats that bring Aunt M's window card..

One year the place was over run with this scam.. At that time the DMV could do nothing but hand then a lic..

I emailed them back and got a response from purple koosh. Then I got my approval. Allright. Now I'm set.
