Five planets visible last night

Last night at Rooster Rock in the Columbia River Gorge, meteor shower viewers also got to see Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn together in the same sky.

Yeah, but, they're not always visible together.

Sort of like the Beatles, or Black Sabbath. It's better to see them all together.

Technically there were six visable. Had you looked down you would have seen Earth.

Yeah, but, then I wouldn't have been looking at the sky, unless I saw the reflection in the Columbia River or something.

Now, that would have been cool.
