Booking flights for 2009

Post by Miss Phloss » Tue Aug 12, 2008 9:21 pm

I thought I'd post here becuase I wasn't sure where else to ask!

I Love Burning Man and have been itching to go for 3 years now, and I've now got the opportunity possibly to come in 2009! Its part of a trip around the world = New Zealand -->Japan, Europe, UK and I'm hoping to stop in LA right bang on the end of August. Flights over have been all booked! *its actually happening* 8)

But we've not booked our return flights as they're not available yet or something, but would ANYONE know the Burning Man dates for 2009?? Or do I have to wait till after 2008's one?

Help would be appreciated so I can make sure I get the right flights!

Thankyou very much!

xx

HI,

This is just a rough guess, but BM usually encompasses the long weekend with the Saturday right before labour day as the night the man burns. Figure out the date of labour day Monday, count back to the previous Sunday and you have your dates. But remember, that's not official, just my experience.

Burning Man 2009 (assuming it's not closed down for some reason) will be held beginning Monday, August 31 through Monday, September 6.

It would be very tough to close it down even if someone tried, and there would be a very big party happening regardless. Just buy the tix.
