First timer who just moved to Berkeley, CA from Ireland

Hi guys,

As the subject says - I'm a first time burner (this is gonna be great!!!) who's just moved over to the US. I'm going to be living in the San Francisco East Bay area for about a year. Anyway, I only moved over two days ago so I have nothing - as in no car, tent, etc. I'm looking for some experienced burner to take me under their wing and give me some tips/pointers/lift/etc in exchange for beers/coffee/interesting stories/guitar playing/12 year old Irish whiskey!

Welcome to the US, Irish dude!

So, make sure you read the Survival Guide 11 times before you head out...this place is no joke. It's all about radical self-reliance...do not depend on anyone else to take care of you out there...be prepared to take care of yourself!
