Report in from Gerlach! We just spent 3 days n 2 nights on the playa!!!
Sat n Sun were Supreme, except for heat factor....noonish to 5pm was just fucking hot...chase shade...hydrate...conversate...but gawd dont move you'll sweat.
Sunday night....10pm'ish...big winds came in BIGGG BIGGG WIND, within about 30 mins. or so...the white outs came.
yup simular to last yr.
Thought they would knock off at sunrise...but nope. The white out portion of them did knock off a bit, just the wind stayed steady swift kick'n at ya.
BERMS...folks....for those of you who dont or havent ever lived around desert or snow...there are dunes everywhere!!!!!! Saw peeps bite it on bikes all over the place. Streets at this point seem like the only good place to kinda drive a bike.
Mutant vehicles....careful if your a small clearance! you'll get stuck and ripp your art work off!
Maybe by the time we all get back this week, some of it will be blown out or driven across enough to not get in the way.

Capt. U! What's up my brother? Just got some riot gear to wear at night (hardshell shin guards, forearm protecters, theigh/groin protection). It just for cosmetics, but then again, can withstand a 90 mph fastball to the nuts
