Why so many tickets on eBay?

Post by goneguy » Sun Aug 17, 2008 6:44 pm

Looking forward to my first burn, I see lots of tickets for sale on eBay. Does this usually happen?

Why :?:

Because there is an incentive to buy early people do. Plans change. People lose jobs. They start new ones and can't be gone. Relationships end. I suppose one or two might even die.

I don't know if there is a bumper crop this year or not. I thought I was done with the event and didn't realize that I wasn't until I got an offer I could not refuse for this year.

Something like $4.39 in Alturas right now.

Probably fakes, too. Plus there's more people, which means more people who are suddenly unable to attend. Sad, all around.
