Does anyone know if it's a problem to do some arty stuff to the perimeter fence?

One year a friend posted a page of his novel on each of the fence posts.

Please don't -- seriously -- anything attached to the netting makes it balloon in the wind, catch more & more debris, and possibly make a huge tear in the netting -- anything hung on the posts would impede fence repairs -- anything out there is assumed to be trash -- that's why it's called a trash fence -- sorry.

I did find something very cool late one night way out around 11:30-ish on the fence. But it was tiny, quite tiny indeed.
