we want to taste your water...

Post by depros » Sun Aug 17, 2008 4:36 pm

we will have a water tasting bar and we need your help!

our goal is to have tap water available from all over the world for the tasting. grab a water bottle, fill it up from your tap, label the bottle with the location, drop it off, and take a taste from other samples from around the globe.

we plan to have a usb microscope in camp as well for anyone who would like to bring water samples from their local stream, lake, ocean, etc. put a sample under the microscope and see what the differences are at the molecular level.

can't wade to see you!

I love this idea...are you going to tally the results? I could bring a bottle from San Francisco but I'm sure you'll already have a few SF donations....I can tell you the water in Sparks, NV sucks ass....

i'd be pretty damn impressed if we tally any results. that sounds like something we'd start for the first 3-5 minutes and then forget about. i'll put a notebook on the bar so the water tasters can write down descriptions of how the water tasted, was it hard water, soft water, did someone drop off a bottle of piss as a joke and label it as water from reno?

as far as the bay area is concerned, everybody else may be thinking the same thing and we'll end up getting none. even we get plenty of it, you can add it to our water works.

hmmm? this is the first year we're doing this water tasting bar. so, i guess it's not as unique as i thought. regardless, it's fun nonetheless.

we're at 4:30 and bonneville....never been to ireland, so very interested in how irish water tastes.

not sure exactly where we are placed, but we won't be hard to find. follow the sound of flowing water...
