I second that! And, it is a "Pub Crawl" on the playa, fer cryin in a bucket. Accuracy is a relative thing, inversely related to sobriety. Really, I could show you a graph! All scientific like.

Well Moz,

This should put it all into perspective. Yesterday, during the hopfully last of the sea trials for Tub with 5 souls on board, as we were talking to some neighbors who were enamered by the Tub, with the Tub not even moving, just sitting there( I, know this is a horrible run on sentence). BAM, out of nowhere, it takes off in full spin mode off the side of the road, narrowly missing the 20 foot drop off to the creek below. Thankfully no-one was injured, but the front of the Tub isn't quite as round as it should be and two thirds of the electronics are up in smoke(literally). I guess the electronics manufacturer's got some splanin' to do. Seven months of non-stop fabrication halted by bad electronics design and smoky transistors.

Anyway's my point is, we WILL still bring a safe and functioning Tub to the Playa no matter what! Damn the smoky transistors! Full speed ahead! Don't let the bastards get you down. It'll still happen, and it'll still be a GREAT FUCKING TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bring the cards...find out where ya gonna be on playa...go post a secret password for all of us who would know ....could know et the center camp info booth.

I just got back from the playa...Its Crazy there too...this is a huge thing for a bunch of volunteeers and very small payroll peeps to complete in a stoned matter of time.
The playa is 2x's bigger! then Ive ever seen it!

Its the Playa....we'll do THE CRAWL!....A street is pedestrian only this year... so all those Bars on frontage of A street...the Mutant vehicles cant travel down there, we'll have to park on esplande dirt side.
No problems...we hoof it a little, shit this is burningman, who hasnt hoofed it when ya missed your ride or your bike broke.

So MozY...when you get there ...go to the artery(this is easiest way to get you a placer)....Tell them I need a placer to place me, high traffic, low traffic/loud/quiet...whatever you preference. They'll see if there are any more up front property that has been canceled or what not....standby camp so to speak.

They can help you get close to the area's you had in mind.

And sweetheart...its only burningman...we have fun no matter what or what not happens!
This didnt get built or that changed plans...no big...guidelines folks...guidelines!
You are who we all wanna see...the art is only frostin' the cake my friends is you guys....the hearts and souls and the energy of burningman people radiates down the streets and into the open playa. You feel the art and the love and the soul touching.

Its beatuiful out there...and the weather report I gave is only what it is right now....Titwi said looks good for the week coming!

And drink to them getting athlete's foot.
And hope that every time they need ice it will be sold out.

Itâ€™s Burning Man after all. Things are always subject to change until the last second. For me, Iâ€™ll know Iâ€™m heading to the playa for certain when I pull out and point the truck hood away from the rising sun. Iâ€™ll know Iâ€™ll be at Burning Man when I pull onto the playa and drop anchor.

All the rest is just hard work, speculation and the best planning I can do with the information I have at hand. Iâ€™ll take it as I can get it.

You should bring it on anyways, Mozy. No sense in letting a little kink throw you. Nothing that a sign in the proper place couldnâ€™t cure should you find its not possible to camp where you had originally intended.

I'm still in thrash and panic mode. My RV has been doing the dreaded Chevy won't-start-when-hot thing, and I got stranded last night 40 miles away, had to get a ride home late at night and yank the starter from my Chevy truck at home (cuz where are you gonna get one late Sunday night!) and go back to the RV and put it in to get it home... at about 2:30 AM.
Tonight I put in a Ford starter solenoid and bigger cables, seems cured... so far...
I also put manifold gaskets in, but they still leak and it sounds "ghetto" as hell. I'm out of time to deal with that, I can make it there like that.
The boat isn't ready either! AAAUUUGGHhhh!!!!

I had a car do that and it was the starter alignment.
Someone had left the alignment plate off.
I moved the starter slightly and carefully aligned it.
Fixed.
It was jamming the solenoid.

BTW, I think i'm done with all my problems. Too many to list. But the CBI is broken down and ready to be loaded on the trailer. We got a shit-ton of work done on it in the last two weeks. It's lookin tits.

Will have some color kinetics color change led spots inside. On the out side is color kinetics white led spot lights to light up the outside. Also use them for headlights.

On the front will be a large color led arrary.

The whole thing is drive by wire. The rocket is electric.
