MISFIT NATION AT BRC 2008

Matt here, of Misfit Nation. The Mystical Misfits bring you Misfit Nation this year at Black Rock City. We are located at 4:30 and Bonneville.

For those of you who remember us from last year, we had the ginormous 3 story high scaffolding and tower blasting green light all the way across the playa, at 7:30 and B.

We are a nation of misfits, as are all Playa denizens. Please come by anytime with all your campmates and become naturalized Citizens of Misfit Nation. We have a big happy hour party at 3pm daily, with daily special cocktails, music, fun and games in our deep cool shade.

Our camp consists of the three most important American Frontiers, ones where misfits, outlaws, and dangerous and eccentric thinkers have shaped our great nation, and indeed the modern western world. Our Just Shoot Me Saloon is a bar where you can reconnect with our pioneer past. Our Cityscape lounge is the modern, industrial, urban world (as in RIGHT NOW) where we tested the boundaries of reality, fact, free speech, free markets, cyber-intelligence, bio-medicine, and of course deadly modern warfare. Our DJ and dance area is Space, the Final Frontier.

Test your hand at our shooting gallery. Our DJs from Alien Underground will spinning kicking tunes day and night. We're having a big party on Thursday night, and our shade area and raised viewing platform is open for all, anytime.

Thursday night we are having a huge party with mega fire performances and god knows what else.

Tell the Alien Underground boys Vis and Ninth Path of Tasty Noodles say whaddup. We'll definitely stop by the misfit nation! Last saw the AU boys spinning at Hyperborea 2.
We'll be camping, spinning, pouring drinks and playing with Oobleck at the Oobleck Village, 3:00 and F.

No, we're not one of those asshole nations that refuses citizenship to people for no reason. There, you're already a citizen. Come by for your vaccinations!!!

hey matt, we're neighbors, so i'll be stopping by! 4:30 and bonneville's going to be rocking this year. sounds like you guys like to party it up and so do we.

wade across the street to water works and enjoy our water tasting bar! since you're all misfits, don't worry, we'll have a real bar as well....
