Lightsaber Battle Update

The lightsaber battle will be occurring just before sundown (7-7:30?) on Thursday. As in the 2006 battle (which I was not privy to), the lightsabers will be handed out at stations at esplenade, 9:00, 12:00, and 3:00. I will be helping the organizers hand out blades as one of their "Generals" so I hope to see you there!

if you promise to actually take the little plastic battery tags off the light sabers before you give them out, and you throw them away, and they don't end up all over the playa like last year, then I promise that I will dress up like Princess Leah and let you lick me like Jabba the Hut :)

Shouldn't all those Jedis be responsible for the proper disposal of their own little plastic tags?

Since I'm a real nerd I'll also bring up that it's Princess "Leia".

Hooray for lightsabers. I got my own, so no moop from this padawan.

ok, I don't really have the costume. and I can't do the side doughnuts since I cut all my hairs off. so I'm really just talking smack :) so what do you get for collecting the tabs? is there a reward? dang, I should have kept those!
