When I was waiting to get in at the Gate, there was a group of seven people all without tickets, asking for freebies. I found this shocking, and disgusting. The more irritating part is that they managed to collect tickets for all seven of them. Absurd, and very un-Burner-like of them to have come so unprepared. I did not see if they had supplies and such. It would not surprise me a great deal if they did not.
Dang AntiM, did you have a bad burn or something? You seem to be pissed off ever since you got back...
Frankly, I was going to start a thread asking for a ticket as well. I didn't think ahead of time and my American Dream ticket is now in no shape to be added to my collection. Anyone feel like giving up their ticket stub for my collection?

Ahem. That was pre-burn snark if you look at the date of the post. I was getting fed up with eplaya about then.BitterDan wrote:Dang AntiM, did you have a bad burn or something? You seem to be pissed off ever since you got back...

I am not pissed off, but I am freely expressing my opinions. I usually just shake my head and move on, but today I'm catching up and feeling open and chatty. You're just not used to me being me out loud. Actually, I had a pretty good burn except for the one bad incident when the guy out his ciggie out on Larry's forehead. Read my tone as light and fluffy, not sharp and angry.
Doh, I should have read the date first...
It was nice to finally meet you even though you were on your way out and about. I'm just glad the moonshine crew wasnt around when the cigarette incident happened or there might have been a bleeding frat boy to deal with. We avoided an incident at the tavern when some guy who we kicked out decided to come back and try to start a fight. I explained to the guy, in very simple terms, "You see those 30 guys right there? Well, they are ready to pounce on you should you make a move." The guy had enough sense to give up his attempt to start a fight.
