Pro Camera gear on the playa

Post by Kiminugs » Sat Aug 23, 2008 11:13 am

Hey!
This is my first time heading out ... I am a pro photographer and will have my digital SLR and possibly pro video camera in tow. Can anyone give me some advice as to how to protect my gear from the elements? I am worried about the dust getting in and causing big problems.

Any advice from veteran burners with camera stuff? I am going for the experience... not to shoot things for work.... and am considering leaving all of my gear at home, but i know if i get out there with no camera i will be sad to not have a way to record the amazingness....

any and all ideas would be greatly appreciated.

thanks so much
Kimi

p.s. I also have space avail in an SUV if anyone needs a ride from LA to BRC on Monday the 25th or Tues the 26th

You can tell yourself.

Try "search", it's a crazy cool way to find info.

I leave my pro camera at home, but many take them.
I do take several cameras.
