John McCain, with Sarah Palin riding shotgun, is finally getting the kinds of loud crowds that Democratic rival Barack Obama has been getting for months now.

And a new poll published today suggests that McCain has closed the "enthusiasm gap" with Palin's help and the anti-Obama drumbeat from the Republican convention last week, putting him into a narrow national lead with less than two months until the election.

The USA Today/Gallup survey gave McCain a 50 percent to 46 percent lead over Obama among registered voters -- compared to a 7-percentage-point deficit after the Democratic convention and before the GOP gathering.

The selection of Palin to the Republican ticket led 29 percent of voters to say they were more likely to vote for McCain, while 21 percent said they were less likely, according to the poll.

The survey, conducted Friday through Sunday, has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.

The Pentagon has clearly stated that the US has no defense for the Sizzler or the Sunburn. They go mach 2 and evade. That means that our navy is obsolete against the worst that the East can hit us with.
Our navy was the big hammer that we used to fuck with the rest of the world. Our air force was the small hammer. The Russians have good SAMs.
The balance of power has shifted in a huge way. The US has bases in 180 countries but the Chinese have manuevered to control many of the important straits. They control large chuncks of property at both ends of the Panama canal,, for example.

Who knows what the range is? They, along with the US have perfected hyperbaric weapons that are close to the yield of lower range nukes.

Everybody is working on biological, chemical and electronic warfare.
The US is hugely indebted and won't drill it's energy reserves.
The East is rising and the US can't easily stop them. Personally, I believe that the west is engineering a huge famine to block the Chinese from Africa. I expect to widespread famine by January.

Anthrax Case

Lawmakers also quizzed Mueller about the FBI's anthrax case. Specifically, they asked about the strength of the government's evidence against Army researcher Bruce Ivins. Ivins killed himself before the FBI could formally indict him for sending letters filled with anthrax through the mail.

Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) asked Mueller about some of the holes in the case. He focused on the fact that scientists have long claimed that some of the anthrax sent in those 2001 letters had been coated with silica â€” something Ivins didn't know how to do. The FBI has said that the silica on the anthrax wasn't put there by whoever sent it but, rather, was something the anthrax had naturally absorbed from the air.

Nadler asked if Mueller knew the level of concentration of the silica found in the anthrax. If it were higher than one-half of 1 percent, he said, scientists told him it couldn't have come from natural absorption. Mueller said he didn't know; he'd get back to Nadler.

Nadler then asked whether Mueller would object to an independent review of the FBI's evidence against Ivins. Mueller said the FBI was seeking an independent review of the scientific evidence in the case. "Because of the importance of the science to this particular case and perhaps cases in the future, we have initiated discussions with the National Academy of Sciences," he said. He said they were working with the academy to "undertake a review of the scientific approach used during the investigation."

Mueller stopped short of saying the FBI would cooperate with an independent review of the entire case.

Sounds like know more then they are willing to acknowledge

I feel bad for the american taxpayer who understands little of what and how all this got to be and is being asked for so much now. If the taxpayer is being used to bail out this ultra-greed system, we oughta be getting something back for it....like lowered credit card costs, education benefits for our kids, some kind of health care guarantees, reduced taxation (for the middle class)

They finally elected a prime minister who is not from the military. Lets hope that she brings real change. She has 15 years experience in the intelligence service,,,, same as Putin. What are the chances that we'll elect someone intelligent here?

The way that Israel will reduce attacks is to follow the United Nations recommendations.

1- Divide Jerusalem
2- Recognize a Palestinian state
3- Allow a number of Palestinians to reclaim some of their stolen properties and financial compensation for those properties that can't be given back.

None of which will occur until these people recognize that the Torah (from which Islam is based on as well) are nothing but MYTHS based on Israel's history!

There is no Patron God for them and there never was!

So, yesterday, someone leaves flyers on all the cars in the lot. Political flyers.

Seems there's this group called the NSM and they REALLY don't like Obama.

The flyer says 'Once you go black, we don't want you back'. And it's got a picture of some black tribesman from some old National Geographic or something--with the word 'negro' placed on his head--I guess to drive the point home.

Now, I laughed at the thing--I mean, it's really hard to believe that these people are around in enough numbers to operate a printer....

But then I got to thinking, what message does this send besides 'don't vote for the negro'? Well, it kinda implies that you should then vote for the white guy, yes? Which could be seen as a big negative for McCain--"Racist Retards Back McCain", y'know? Now, "Racist Retards Back Obama", too, but in cases like this the white guy always gets tarred and feathered a bit.

So, I sez, maybe I should check to see if it's real. Could be some reverse psych propaganda. And they've offered a convenient website.

So I check the website, and it looks real. Lots of the usual racist claptrap.

But they don't like McCain. AT ALL. Seems him and Palin are tools of the Jews.

But they didn't say who they support on the flyer.

So, I start to wonder, just what are they saying here? Is this just a general call out--'hey white people, come be a racist retard like us--and you black folks who we put flyers on your cars--be scared--we can leaflet anytime--anywhere! HA!'

Or is it some lefty retard trying to tie McCain to racist retards who found the group, but didn't bother to check and see that they don't support McCain?

they stirred the pot, and, created emotion in people, again, in their minds, garnering attention.

Some of them probably believe that will changed peoples minds........mostly, the real "thinkers" in that group, probably, know it just draws attention, and, will lure possibly a few more disenfranchised folks in.......

So,
in a sense, they were quite effective.........

Perhaps consider just trashing the flier without comment...........?
