The slacker diet works!
The slacker diet works!
A whole Summer of being unemployed, lazy, and now finally homeless (my house got rented while I was at BM) left me 25 pounds lighter! My car is selling today and I'm off to New Zealand next week where I hope to continue my healthy ways. I didn't believe the scale at first but a trip to buy new pants in a significantly smaller size convinced me it was true. I'm still fat, but at least I'm out of the big & tall section and back into L-XL territory.
Drop me a line if you're ever in Wellington!

Use the drop-down towards the middle where it says "SEARCH FOR A COUCH NOW" (3428 available couches in New Zealand). I've hosted people. It's a lot of fun.
It's what you make it.

I can't "vouch" for you on the couchsurfing system yet though, so far I've only been vouched for by two people. You have to have been vouched for by at least three people before you can vouch for others.
...but it seemed like such a good idea at the time...
Here's me:

I hosted a couple of Canadian burners on their way down last year and it worked out great.

AntiM I added you as a friend. This is me:AntiM wrote:I put up a friend request.
Ring, I put that we met, but honestly, I get fuzzy about who was actually at the meet n greets and who I hallucinated.

No problems. I've only been to "Big" Burningman once, in 2004 (lots of regionals since). We met briefly at the Mn'G at Barbie Death Camp. I ascribed you a "wicked sense of humor" in the couchsurfing reference mostly from reading your posts here on eplaya for the past four years.AntiM wrote:I put up a friend request.

I didn't really expect a glowing reference or anything remotely like that. After all we did only meet the one time. Also, I don't post all THAT much on the eplaya, so it's harder to get a sense of what I'm like from just reading my occasional random posts - apart from the fact that one's eplaya posts only represent a very limited aspect of one's personality - which has been choosen for display.
If I'm out your way though, I'm definately gonna hit you up for some couch space!
From anther thread:The Cryptofishist wrote:He had the "Black Rock Rick" name tag.
I've met him, and you've met me. Does that count?
See... Craiger13 can't be Black Rock Rick, because I'm Black Rock Rick!Karma wrote:I think Craiger 13 is in reality................ Black Rock Rik
Dummm, duh dum dum
(maybe)
Will the real Black Rock Rick please stand up? If he gets tired of standing up, can he crash on your couch?
