Friday night i took my first Hoffman journey with an angel (aptly named) 'Gabriel.'

i had the medicine with me, and we licked it off the back of our hands all night.

we traveled to numerous parties starting at 3:00. we did have a goal: deeeeeep left field, so nothiing but the most intesnes driving psy-trance would suffice.

across the open playa we trekked, wearliy approaching the Man, who in proper HomeLandSecurity fashion was off limits and alit with unholy white sodium lights.

at 10:00 we took more Hoffman and slipped through the parties (but totally bypassing the green gorilla) on our way to the goal.

we reached 10:00 and Hummer, passed through a buffer zone and came upon silence. silence like i hav never heard on the playa. a psy-trance synched search light atop a tower drew us in, and tired from our 2 hour walk, collapsed onto a comfy beanbag mound.

i rose and left the angel as an event i will not even try to explain began to unfold under that tent. (for those that hav been there under such conditions perhaps you would understand.)

finaly i made it to the SpaceElevator and was initiated into psy-trance. either i went up, or THEY* came down. such a smooth ride. i strolled out to the trash fence and found a climbable watertank where some fine bro's were hanging. our laughter was contagious. we broke down into a state where time skipped due to laughter and lightness.

fear dissipated with every exhalation, leaving me with steady eyes and riotous calmness i pray for ever and ever.

things are different now.
prepaird, perhaps, for something NEW?
*something* from so deep and so beyond that it mutates the fabric of being?

what are we?

-oh, right, it's just an 'art-brawl' in the desert. a place to be everything and nothing. a rave with some cerimony. an event much better before you started coming 8-)

Genetics and mutation is the most perfect theme for 2009. see you there, Allah-Gaia Willing!
