THANK YOU's.

To David from Brooklyn, slinging coffee alongside me one memorable afternoon: thank you for your conversation and presence.

To the Lebanese woman who came back several hours, several days in a row, to get her Tarot reading: thank you for your patience and beauty.

To whoever made the nodding opium poppies out on the Playa: thank you for such grace and simplicity.

To the Arachnophobia people across the street: thank you for playing TMBG while we were tearing down our camp.

The poppies were so fascinating to me. When I saw them in the daytime, I wasn't very interested in them. But wandering through them at night was so serene and strange and cool. They were beautiful.

Thanks to WeDeliver for loaning me his trailer tail lights for my Land Yacht when the DMV told us that the BLM suddenly required us all to run regular red taillights on mutant vehicles, without any prior indication of such a rule.

I'd never even met him... he just came by and said "here, use these, and return them at the end of the week".

Thanks, WeDeliver, I hope to come stay at your RV park some day.
You burners all know he lets us stay free of charge while heading to BRC, right?

To Daniel Son: a best friend in the practical life, wonderful ride share partner... love you even though our playa time together was limited (it's okay, neither of us really regret it.)

To my extended [reunited] playa family: The love and magic that is created when we all share these brief but timeless days together is untouchable. I'll love you all infinitely, forever.

STARFUCKS: The best neighbors that instantly became camp mates. Your energy meshed perfectly with ours, and we can't wait to join forces again next year. (and *hopefully* decomp in SF as well?)

The Petting Zoo: for the amazing company and laughter. Never fail to inspire and entertain.

Sexy Dready Chris: I still have a fever your fire was so intense. It was wonderfully unexpected to share space with you, you're in my thoughts wherever you are..

Christie my sister: Reuniting with you on our playa-versary was perfect. love forever. Meow means love.

Katterton: So much spunk and life to you, I am stoked you are in close enough vicinity that our oddities can collide more frequently.

"Blondie" who I shared the most magnificent embrace with prior to the
Temple burn, and bumped into Monday morning. It meant a lot.

My little Giggle Fit: Our bond was instantly formed, and is untouchable now. I am so blessed.

To whoever constructed Babylon Tower: You blew my mind, and I couldn't thank you more. Thank you! Thank you!

and particularly, I want to thank you. If it weren't for each individual's energy being present, there is no way my burn could have amounted to what it did this year. Absolute perfection.

MAGICFIRELOVE.

I'm afraid I'd leave someone out .... thank you all for your wonderful selves, your wonderful art, your kind acts and thoughtful gestures. Thanks for those who put up with me on crankypants days, and thanks to the beautiful people who made me smile and warmed my heart. That's the Golden CAfe, Bob's Rainforest, Hushvillians, Phil and Louis for wacing every morning, the guys across the street, Barbie Death camp, Apokiliptika, Booby Bar, Utah Fire and Queen Mab, the Contraption for visiting, Justin for pitching in , Claire and Claire's Mom, Dana, Jeremy, my rangers one and all, Wolf, Messenger and the ever cheerful Anthon, Putt putt Glof, and and and ... everyone.

Thanks to my wonderful camp mates who rock immensely.

This hits hard, my neighbor shredded me this morning for never saying thank you, and for yelling at her husband. WTF? Oh well, another post, another forum.

- the guy who tipped ten bucks on a cup of coffee. and the guy who tipped seven. okay, all of everyone, whether or not they tipped.

- the couple who put that little Canada flag pin on me. i ended up writing "NO I AM NOT FROM ---> " in Sharpie on my shirt cuz everyone was asking me if i was Canahoodian. no, i'm just a fan.

- everyone who let me rename them. i think we only lost a couple orders that way...

- the woman who came back and brought me a spraybottle full of rose water for a tip. thank you! i ended up using the rosewater on later customers (i made some of 'em think about their favorite body of water, and grandma's garden, with their eyes closed... yum) and later still on folks who came by Tarotist Training Camp for tarot readings. and now i've busted out with it here in Portland pre-tarot-reading. and it inspired me to do something similar as part of a performance/participation piece improvised at The Back Room, this time using orange blossom water. so! yay!

- everyone who played along with us.

i would like to thank Jesus (of santa barbara) for the morning he wandered into The Big Dome and started to help with the morning moopage.

he was carrying a huge wooden cross, and my name being simon, well hilarity followed...he is a scriptwriter with a depth of knowledge of truly bad jokes....we did a two hour schtick on the esplanade that we should have been crucified for, under normal circumstances.

Thanks to Big Cock for trusting me to spank his ass, i believe on the same morning jesus showed up.

Thirt33n for seeing thru my layers of bullshit to find out i'm just a burner, and to be my friend.

the blm ranger and the medics who like ghosts slipped thru the madness in the dome one night to rescue someone who had fallen down from dehydration/exhaustion and whisked her to safety and care.

to my girlfriend, who puts up with me and my quixotic life.

to all of my camp mates, of course, how strange to have two families, like charles kuralt but weirder.

the dpw, always, for the city they build and destroy for us to use.

and lastly, to eplaya, for being digitally dusty, and so damn fun.

Thank you to my camp mates, Daki, Tre, Rev. Demon Tutu and our very own resident healer, Bbbbbbill, for making this first Burn an amazing experience.

Thank you to Knowledge 360 and Caleb for their amazing abilities and insights, we love you and are so glad that you let us "adopt" you!! Peace and love wherever you may travel.

Thank you to Otter, for encouraging us last year to attend this year, I love you man.

Thank you to the people that built Babylon, the beautiful structure with the hanging "bells", the white lights pulsing to music, the Roller Disco, Putt Putt Golf, and those absafreakilutely amazing metal wings in the middle of the Playa, incredible.

Thank you to ALL OF YOU, for Buring Man, the experience and the people.
