Biden Bloopers

Post by Apollonaris Zeus » Thu Sep 25, 2008 11:21 pm

Biden in an interview with Katie Kouric makes several erroneous claims that when the stock market Crashed (in 1929) FDR didn't make Television speeches!

OK now I'm worried this guy leading the county but not so much as palin leading the county

Keep tuned for more Biden Bloopers!

Ya, he's got a reputation for saying some pretty off the wall things. I heard another when he was talking to a crowd about Obama and gun control. But somehow his bloopers seem to be pretty inocuous.

Interesting response, JK.........seems you'd be jumping up and down if this were regarding your less favored candidate.....not sloughing ANYTHING they said off as "innocuous".....

I give credit and kudos to AZ for posting this, at least he's making an attempt at open mindedness........at least for now.......hahhaaha

It'll be interesting to see if the Jackals that surround one set of candidates descends on these as well.......

stay tuned, I will anyway......

Ygmir, don't think I don't cringe when someone on the team I'm rooting for makes a faux paux. The reason that I called his mis-spoken comments innocuous is they are not anything that would make it to factcheck.org and they are not anything that in any way would cause someone to draw a negative conclusion as to his ability to hold the office he was seeking to be elected to.

They got the most play by Jon Stewart on the Daily Show.

Though I might be deluding myself, I like to think that I would be relatively impartial in calling either candidate on blatant lies and deception; and like to think that I don't just repeat any candidates talking points without doing some fact-checking myself.

JK:
thanks for the response.
and, know, that I understand your position as a 'partisan'.....I have no trouble with opinion, etc........in fact, I applaud anyone who takes a stand.

I do however think your reaction to the same incident, if regarding your opponent, would have been a fair amount of hyperbole, innuendo and conspiracy referencing......as opposed to the 'innocuous' reference.

I also understand, and accept, a persons tendency to want "their" candidate to win, and, prejudice in that direction.

I'm in the unique position of not liking either one, pretty much for the same reasons, and, on the same level.

So there.........

Well i you didn't get it when Biden said all those funny words

Imagine, biden with a degree in HISTORY not knowing about TVs and FDR

What is really funny is how literal people really are and how stupid so few people know what a metaphor is and when someone is speaking down to all the stupid fucks that make up 50% or more of the American population.

But then again that is way those stupid Fucks voted for Bush anyway!

Are you a Stupid Fuck?

ON the Palin/McCAin show:

It's not looking good for them. Polls are showing Obama ahead by over 10 points and its going to get worst before the election.

Biden did have one blooper of a mistake during the Debate:

He let Palin go without plummetting her with, "if McCain is such a Maverick, then why does his record show he sided with Bush over 90% of the time.

Obama is the Maverick!

McCain is Nothing!

I'd say he did a pretty good job with this interview:

I think he husband is a republican stratigest for the McCain campaign--at least he's tied in some way with them.

But I think Biden did a great job responding to her.
