Film "Trouble at The Border"

This film is a follow up to the thread "Was Anyone Harrassed At The Checker's Gate?" It is extra dramatic fiction! LOL! I personally think it's a funny flick.

A few things to note are that to the best of my knowledge no PG&E or Welcomer folks acted like this at BM 08. The people who did, in my case, were "borrowing" authority. I am posting the film, because I said I would and as art, to exhibit a form of civil disobedience that occurs when people feel the need to push back to find out WTF went wrong in their community.
This is not a "troll" post, neither I, nor Videogasm harbor any ill will toward BMORG.

If anyone was treated like this, however- report it to somebody. Say something. You don't have to take it, nor should you be made to feel like you have to spend your week at BRC defending yourself from fucktards and thieves.

Special thanks to Ed (aka Early) for the filming and editing, as well as Jon (aka njo) for helping to organize people and for creative inspiration. Plus big hugs and handshakes to everyone who was part of the production.

All them fucking people that did that should go to jail. For bad acting. JUST KIDDING. Great piece loved watching it. Actually the acting was VERY believable! I felt intimidated and I'm not a virgin. Excellent!

uh oh. i feel SO outed. i am from the midwest and have been known to kill LED festooned bambi's with my deadly glowsticks. not my fault though - comes from our overly tree-laden environment.

how'd they find out? and for godsakes who told the checkers?!?

The funny thing is is that, besides the NON-Gate person that took the glowie stuff in question as a misguided part of the COG thing, Gate does not actually confiscate anything.

You guys DO know that, right?

We search for things. They are against the rules of the event. If they are found, we do not take them unless you ask us to and we are capable of taking them.

So....if we find pets, firearms, feathers and MOOPY shit, it is YOUR responsibility to NOT have them to come in. We don't take them, except in the case of burnable things at the behest of the participant. I.e. if you have moopy crap, Gate will often take it if you ask and burn it at the burn barrel.

If you do not elect to do that, or have any of the other prohibited crap, we do not take it. We send you to get rid of it. Somewhere. Anywhere. Just not at BM.

All of the prohibited stuff is clearly outlined on the site and ticket.

So funny how different people's perception of reality is...
