Decompressing from burningman2008!
Another wonderful way to get your party on with all the fun and wonderful Burners and this is a Burningman Recognized decom party...so there will be ways you can contribute to the burning way of life!

What:
The Biggest Little Decompression in the World
When:
October 18th - High Noon until everyone is sick of it
Where:
The Mangrove – Corner of Sierra St. and Island Ave., Right next to the River – Noon ‘til Sundown
Club Underground – 555 E. 4th St. – 9PM ‘til ?
Bliss Nightclub – 535 E. 4th St. – 10PM ‘til ?
Alley – Behind Bliss and Underground – Sunset ‘til ?
Why:
We are doing this to raise money for the Reno Burners LLC, to support the local Burning Man Community and most importantly, to have fun with everyone in our community!
How:
We are fully permitted and insured for this event ‘cause we’re just that good.
Who:
We have many acts lined up for your entertainment pleasure, and the list just keeps on growing. Here are some of the entertainment options:
The Mangrove – Informational booths, workshops, conservation, art projects
Front Room of Underground – Live bands ‘til around midnight, DJ’s afterwords
Back Room of Underground – Live music, Boho Burlesque, many other live performance acts
Bliss - DJ’s all night long, featuring an amazing indoor sculpture of sorts, The Fantastic Fabric Fantasy Land
Alley - Phoenix Project, Theme Camps, Music, Controlled Burn, Open Fire Spinning, Art
Volunteer
We have many volunteer opportunities available. We need many interesting and unique people to help out with various duties before and during the event, people to bring their artwork of all sizes, and theme camps! Remember, this is YOUR event, so if there is something you think needs to be there, BRING IT! We are so excited to hear from you, so let us know what you can do, and our volunteer coordinators will fit you right where you need to be. Presale tickets: $10
Door prices are as follows:
$10 with playa costume AND a canned food item to donate
$15 with playa costume OR a canned food item to donate
$20 with plain clothes and no donation
Even if you purchased a presale ticket, please try and bring some canned food items to donate to our food drive. We’ll hook you up with some swag if you do.

Please don’t use the online option unless you absolutely cannot make it to one of the other presale locations. Since we do not get the money from online sales until after the event, we won’t have that money to make your Decompression Event even better.
Please note: Club Underground and Bliss Nightclub require you to be 21 years of age or older. These are also the only venues you will need a ticket for entry. The Mangrove and the Alley are free access for anyone of any age.

hmmm. Wife out of town. Band taking weekend off. Went to, performed and worked at SF Decom this year...Live 3 1/2 hours from Reno. Hmmm, probably checking hotel possibilities....hmmmm...tap, tap, drum, drum, tap, tap...cats are young, inside and like dry food...hmmm, placing chin in fork between thumb and fore finger....

Now that was FUcking Fun!
I will have to say...the best part of this Decom was the Alley! 2 clubs for inside entertainment(kinda crowded...a been there done that kinda feel), and everyone hung out outside all night!!!!!
The alley way looked like A st out at BM! Was absolutely wonderful. Closed your eyes to the city lights behind you and we were all right back at home!!!!!
Was so fantastic!!!!! hats off to kernul Killbuck for really bringing us all back HOME!!!!!

I made it up there.... got to Reno at about 7pm, had dinner in a casino and spent the rest of the night in the alley. We didn't even go into the clubs. Had a great time meeting people, sitting by the fire, and roasting marshmellows.
Thanks for giving me the idea to go Pinemom! If I had been more organized I would have let you know I was coming so I could say HI to you in person. Glad you had a fun time too!
