Birthday Party In The Desert.....

Post by Rabbi Dali Rick » Tue Sep 16, 2008 10:30 am

Hello Guys,

Sept 26 is my birthday, and I want to throw a party here at the Ranch, all are welcome, it will be a whole weekend thing, Fri-Sun or as much as you can take. If it gets to be more than 50 people there will be a $10 Porto Pottie fee (requested not required) there will be open bars, and center camp, and live music. So bring your camping gear, your RV, Your Art Car, or just yourself.....

Here is a link to what we have put together out here, so far....

I love what you've done with the place. I wish I could make it but I can't. Maybe next year I will be able to swing the flight and car rental to get out there.

I know.. I said that last year..

You gotta PM me with an addy where you are in BRC so I can try to meet ya next year. Your resort is an inspiration to all.

Rabbi, the place is looking really great. When you mentioned the highlights of the area, you left out the horse adoption corrals; http://www.blm.gov/wo/st/en/prog/wild_h ... tions.html

Hmmm, I see no mention of explosives. Was that an oversight?
BTW, have you seen what happens to a gasoline-filled glass Sparklets bottle when you shoot it with a .44 holopoint,,, next to a candle?
Just a random thought.

Rabbi, the economy is shitty and people are bored. You might get a big turnout for your party. I know that it's not really a "guy" thing but, it might be a good idea to organise a bit. If you could lay out your preparation BESIDES the liquid stuff, it would help.
If you have adequate propane for the stoves in the RVs, people won't have to schlep out all their cooking gear. An extra barrel of water and a sink would be nice.
I can bring out a big electric griddle. What's the KW on the gen? Maybe we can organise food so that everyone doesn't have to bring an ice chest,,, least not for food. I'll bring eggs for breaky. It would be nice to know how many were going to show up.
Let everyone know that mountain bikes are a good idea. Firewood would be a good addition.
Do you have any plan if nobody wants to leave monday morn?

I was waiting for Rabbi Rick to answer. I didn't get there til sunday. There were a lot of empty shell casings and booze bottles. Also a handful of very groggy people. Most;ly locals from Ridgecrest. The party was a bit slow as I understand so one of the girls, hippy, went out to the highway and flashed people. That brought in more partyiers. Don't know who-all was there sat. I brought my 44mag revolver, Hippy was more than willing to burn ammo with it. Tom got wierded out when he tried to take my pic,,, I posed with the barrel of the 44 in my mouth
It was hot.
