The video has noting to do with the fact that you are what you are and that she is not what you claim.

The true facts would be more like "She is a warrior princess and you are a women hating cockroach."

Any cry baby, whining, sniveling cockroach whimp who does not understand what was and is behind the video has less balls than the warrior princess. :P

sure they shoot wolfs to take care of overpopulation big fuicking deal, who gives a rat's ass? That is the logical, low cost solution. What are you, a member of PETA?

So, Palin is an idiot, yes? You're all agreed?

Let's skip over the 57 states remark, because Obama just 'misspoke' under pressure--besides, he was tired....
1. If she/he can't think or speak under pressure, she (in my opinion) would not be qualified for the job she/he is applying for.

5. Thinking and speaking extemporaneously is a pretty important trait for a president/vice-president and I don't think people that need to have excuses made for them (again in my humble opinion) are fit for the job
Wow. Look at that. That's really interesting. But it's only two out of five, right?

Of course, here's Biden on taking a leadership role in the financial crisis(and what a novel idea--comparing a VP pick to a VP pick--instead of to the presidential candidate).
Biden said: "When the stock market crashed, Franklin D. Roosevelt got on the television and didn't just talk about the, you know, the princes of greed. He said, 'Look, here's what happened.'"
4. It has been embarrassing enough for me and our country watching the current leader of the free world make an idiot of himself whenever he opens his mouth. I am not in a very tolerant mood thinking forward to the next administration
Me, too.
3. I think that great insight can be gleaned about the wisdom of the presidential candidate from the choice he has made for his running mate
.

Absolutely

I think we're in trouble here--that's 4 out of 5. But hey, that last one refers to the fact that McCain's old--Obama's young--he's vigorous(and handsome!) He's not gonna keel over like McCain might

Of course, they DID apprehend lunatics who wanted to kill him at the Democrat Convention...
2. Being that Obama is as controversial as he is, and that people have already been caught trying to kill him, I think that great consideration must be given to the person he has chosen to succeed him in the event of his demise.
Damn--now that one fits, too.

Maybe we should try to get that Roosevelt guy that Biden was talking about--talk about pro-active. He was out there acting presidential while someone else was actually President--and doing it where everyone could see it in the TVs they'd be getting in the near future(this Roosevelt guy is obviously som kinda time-traveler, a savior from the future, perhaps).

Looks like it's idiots all around by your criteria, jkisha.

HA! That was a joke! We all know that it's only idiotic when republicans screw up.

And, hey, were you trying for 'pedant' or 'pundit' when you wrote 'pendant' in that other post? Just to clarify

There's a really interesting side scenario that's becoming quite apparent here, as well. I think you'll all like this.

All you lefties and Democrats seem real upset about what that idiotic Palin woman's going to do when she takes over after President McCain tragically dies in office.

I mean, you all seem REALLY upset. So much so that it looks like you're hoping that McCain, while surfing eplaya, will see your concerns, and take them to heart so that he's got a better replacement should he die.

Reading all this concern, one would be surprised to learn that you all aren't ardent McCain supporters.

After all, you are talking about his inauguration as if it's a done deal.

It's like you're all sure that Obama just can't win.

See, were I you, I'd be cheering on McCain's choice of an idiot as his running mate. I'd encourage MORE stupidity..

That way people might think Obamas' a better choice, y'know?

Because, right now, the way you're talking, it looks like you think McCain's a shoo-in.

selah.

i'm a happy camper with McCains choice, it's frosting on the stupid cake as far as i'm concerned, and as i am a partisan, with connects and very good info, i am certain we (the democrats, and the Country) will win.

by 4 points.

elec college 275 for obama, bare minimum, most likely more.

there you have it....

You know, the Repubs say that McCain and Palin are "mavericks" because they don't always agree with their own party, but note that Obama and Biden are not mavericks because the usually go along with their party.

MAYBE

Just MAYBE it's because the Republican party is fucked up and any right thinking person would rebel against most of what the Republican party stands for, and maybe with a few minor exceptions, the Democrat party is not fucked up, and there's no need to be a "maverick".

Well that should stir up the pot!

But all seriousness aside, how does agreeing with your party over 90% of the time and only disagreeing or 'bucking' the party less than 10% of the time actually qualify you for the "Maverick" moniker? I would think a "Maverick" would be bucking the party somewhere around the 50% plus mark, no? Of course if you went beyond that 50% mark, you'd probably be a Democrat.

Time to call in the calvary. The Mavericks are too wishy washy!

You know that Palin will always be there to support her decisions and not to reverse herself:

Now McCain is playing the race card against Gwen Eiffel. This after they were in the midst of her debate practice. I guess they are getting their excuses ready in advance. Sounds to me like the 'practice' isn't going as well as hoped.

"Alaska has also sharply reduced its role in the Northern Forum, an association of state and regional governments from countries including Canada, Russia, Japan and China that works on common issues in northern regions like economic development, flooding and global warming.

Under Mr. Murkowski, Ms. Palin’s predecessor, the state sent senior administration officials to the forum’s meetings and it contributed between $60,000 and $100,000 to the forum each year, according to the forum’s executive director, Priscilla Wohl.

Under Ms. Palin, the state has reduced its spending to the base-level membership dues, $15,000, and the administration has not attended any forum meetings, including one last fall in Russia.

What's a Palin? She's a post turtle.

While suturing a cut on the hand of a 75-year old Texas rancher whose hand was caught in a gate while working cattle, the doctor struck up a conversation with the old man. Eventually the topic got around to Sarah Palin and her bid to be a heartbeat away from being President.

The old rancher said, 'Well, ya know, Palin is a post turtle.'

Not being familiar with the term, the doctor asked him what a post turtle was.

The old rancher said, 'When you're driving down a country road and you come across a fence post with a turtle balanced on top, that's a post turtle.'

The old rancher saw a puzzled look on the doctor's face, so he continued to explain. 'You know she didn't get up there by herself, she doesn't belong up there, she doesn't know what to do while she is up there, and you just wonder what kind of dumb ass put her up there to begin with.

Call me cynical, but now they are pulling the sympathy card in addition to the race card. I just say that poor Ms. Palin fell while jogging at McCain's ranch and will have to wear a bandage during the debate. Another excuse for her less than stellar anticipated performance in the making?

Gwen Eiffel has a book coming out whose title is 'Breakthrough, Politics and Race in the Age of Obama'. What same person didn't see a conflict of interest there?

Or haveI missed something--with the next debate be moderated by Rush Limbaugh? Are they shooting for hyper-partisanship?

Oh, Reps don't call McCain a 'maverick'--he calls himself that. And he does it because that's what the NYT called him when he was preventing reps from using the 'nuclear' option to stop judicial filibusters.

And you all need to look close at them republicans, because the nice things they're saying about McCain are coming from between gritted teeth.

First of all, Gwen Eiffel has an impeccable reputation as a journalist.

Second of all, they knew about this book coming out long before they chose her.

Third of all, the campaigns go into lengthy negotiations to arrange every aspect of the debates from the location, to the moderators, to the form the questions will take, etc.

Why are they having second thoughts now? If this were a concern wouldn't they have addressed it and nixed her during the preliminary negotiations?

So, it seems a bit disingenuous to start calling her biased at this stage of the game. But I guess when they approved her in the preliminary negotiations the weren't aware of how vacuous Palin actually was. So they need to start making excuses for her anticipated embarrassing performance.
