To all you Phish heads out there...

Post by chinacatsunflower » Wed Oct 01, 2008 2:27 pm

As you may already know, after a nearly 5 year hiatus, Phish will return to the stage and have announced 3 dates to be played at the Hampton Coliseum on March 6,7, and 8.

So to any fellow burners who plan to attend, or who may need a ride, I will be driving from the eastern shore in MD and will pass through philly and NYC...as of now I have room for two people in my car.

So bring your dancing shoes and costumes, as well as the spirit of participation, radical self-reliance, gifting, decommodification and leave no trace...Let's Phish it up!
See you on the playa!

glad to get such a warm reception...

remember folks music is a subjective thing...

you would be surprised and the scope of my music collection...

it just so happens that phish is one of my phavorite bands and has not played together in over 4 years...

as of yet i have not shit on anyone else's parade, music-wise at least, so i would ask you to extend the same favor.

Hey Chinacat,

If the economy hasn't completely tanked by then, I'm definately going to catch Phish when they come through this part of the world next spring/summer. I don't think I'm going to try to get tickets for any of the three Hampton VA Shows, although I may change my mind between now and the time tickets go on sale. Eh, maybe I'll try the ticket lottery; there's still a couple of days left. Regardless, I, like you, have an extremely varied music collection and am psyched about Phish getting back together next year. See you on tour!
...but it seemed like such a good idea at the time...

well, when it's time to vote on the stamp, i'm going to pick FAT Chili-Dog Quaffing, Crack Rock Smokin' Jerry, over Early Beardless Jerry for sure.

Naturally! It's like the difference between young, leather-clad Elvis and fat, old, drug-addled, jump-suited Elvis. The latter just seems to have become a more enduring image in popular culture.

Oh, and I thought Jerry preferred to smoke heroin, rather than crack.
