Richard Wright dead.
A great band, Pink Floyd.

Ran across Der Kommissar
I think it was actually this song that made me decide that my Klipschorns and 15" studio monitors didn't have enough bass.
The german vinyl doesn't have all the bass filtered out like most rock albums and that song has a lot of low end, but only at the punch points.
The song doesn't really work if you don't have speakers with some bass though.

I went to the big EVs with 30" bass drivers.
I haven't actually had a chance to play this song through them yet, thinking about it now.

Film, bbc, channel 4 and the occasional stray from Wales in Memphis.
There's bound to be at least one at the Metal Museum this weekend.

Been looking for more psy-chill music like Stereolab and Caribou and came upon The Sea And Cake and especially Yo La Tengo.
