Actually, most of the kids were dressed to some extent, mine about half the time. He did love the pee bottle thats for sure. I was surprised we were yellow though. While we didnt have an organized moop line that I'm aware of, I saw others, including myself police the area so i'd be curious what it was that caused us to be yellow.

thank god they dont have a brown category
Actually, there is a lot more that they grade you on besides moop. Like scars to the playa--those caused by tires going through wet playa and leaving marks, burn scars, and basically anything that causes the playa to look different than it looked before you camped there. That's why a rake and shovel come in handy to take care of those scars. One of the camps in our village was so POd last year because they were given a yellow that they actually called the earth guardians in to pre-inspect, which is where we learned these things. That is why we had gotten yellow in the past but got green this time around.

Oh and the "piss clear" thing is a myth. Keep hydrated yes, but if your piss is clear all the time, you will be diluting your body fluids and flushing out needed salts and nutrients--not a good thing. A better rule is drink when you are thirsty.

JK
Ahhhh, tire tracks, that one this former noob didn't know. I had read about the rake thingy prior, I believe it was actually in a previous Kidsville moop plan, but ran out of room in my V-Hickle. It's on my checklist, and will leave it there for next year.
Any your right about pissing clear. I was being tongue in cheek, I know thats out of line here in eplaya  Bout the only time I really piss clear is after a few brewski's, which by my calculations, should be after this one
Excuse me Ma'am, your going to feel a small prick.

Not a red/green/yellow breakdown, but probably help you to get a green:

At the risk of opening a can of worms, I've heard that there is some subjectivity to the process.

My camp is Green. 3:45 and B....
Sad to see my Neighbors across the street with lots of RED and plenty of Yellow to just about fill 2 blocks.
Entheon Village almost fill the space from 3:30 to 4:00 from the esplanade to B.

We met some great People from the Entheon Village
But what I saw from such a Large theme camp was very disturbing in the way the TOOK over space that was reserved for midnight Sunday for Burners coming in the gate that night. The Village swept in at 10p.m. and fill the space so fast. It was sad to see it happen. The BMORG tried hard to stop the land grab but it still happened. Now seeing the MOOP map tell me that Large Theme Camps might need to be held accountable for the lack of clean up.

Hey ibdave, explain this to me. Are you saying that they were 'taking over' someone elses assigned space?

Our village and camps are all registered. We had no problem getting squatters removed from our assigned space; most moved as soon as they were told; some needed a nudge from a ranger or two; but once someone from your camp is there to claim your space, it's yours. (Unless you don't claim it by some certian cut-off time that I don't recall when it was.)

I was also under the impression that if registered theme camps got poor moop marks, they would not be allowed to return.

I don't think that's ever happened (I could be wrong). It becomes another of those vague how-do-you-document-and-enforce issues. Read the DMV threads and multiply by 24 to get an idea of the ugliness that would ensue. Plus, all they have to do is change the name and submit the camp application from a new email and how would the llc know?

JK, The BMORG had the idea to save the block of 3:30-4:00 and A for anybody coming through the gate at Midnight "opening night" Technically a free for all. The thing is many people from Entheon got in early but were not allowed to camp in this space. I saw many discussions between the ORG and the Entheon ORG about this space. Like I said about 10p.m. it was over run and by the time I headed out to Greeters for a shift 90% of the space was taken in a well orchestrated move.

Individual Members of Stag Camp were able to occupy the area that would be Stag Camp 2.0 pre event but we were sternly told that we could not land grab until the gate opened.
Too bad that some first in gate people did not have the chance to get those set aside close in areas.

That's probably true. I was just told that by my camp mates the first time I went--maybe they were just trying to make sure we all did our part to moop and thought the fear of not being able to go again the following year would be a good incentive. :? :)

this is a tough one, having been on the red side of the stick last year, and now we are green! Root society this year made a concerted effort to MAKE SURE this red stain would not happen again.

it worked. Magnetic rakes are the bomb-diggity.

so it is NOT IMPOSSIBLE even at the HEAVY TRAFFIC CORNERS to be GREEN.

as far as consequences go, a real good shaming, and possibly some promises from Camp Elders that they will do BETTER next year, or else.

what that else is, well, we dont have to say, just know that "else" is no fun.
