Well, I've heard that Simon of the Playa hosts a 'love parade' every year on the playa - in his pants!

Seriously though, no. I've never heard of the Love Parade and neither has anyone else around here. Sorry.

See what happens when people listen to things like a senseless Sensei?

The Love Parade has been around for about as long as Burningman and has awesome music.
There are quite a number of Burners that have gone to that event. After all, there are some similarities. You'll be able to find more info from the link I posted to the wikki. :P

Aw, Simon...

Sensei loves you. Smooch!

p.s. Still not sure about attending next year, or ever again for that matter (I think eight really was enough) but if'n I do go again, you're the first person I'm going to hunt down.

You rock, Simon. Don't think I haven't been noticing...

i'm going in disguise this year, but it should be easy to find me.

I'm going as a Black Man, so it shouldnt be too hard to narrow it down amongst the 8 other black men on the playa. NOT men in Black, as there are HUNDREDS if not THOUSANDS in Black Rock, and they stay in the shadows anyway.

ps....I wont be Sammy Davis Jr., so scratch him from your search.

i dont know if it still stands, but for quite a while Buffalo held the distinction of having the most Bowling Alley Lanes per person than any other "major" city in the US.

so, if you're looking for used bowling shoes all of you hipsters, check craigs list, buffalo.

Almost Canadian??

from

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buffalonian

Buffalo has very sizable populations of Irish, Italian, Polish, German, Jewish, Greek, Arab, African, and Indian descent. Major ethnic neighborhoods still exist but they changed significantly in the second half of the twentieth century. Traditionally, Polish-Americans were the predominant occupants of the East Side, while Italian-Americans composed a close-knit neighborhood in the west side. The East Side is now a predominantly African American neighborhood, while the West Side has become a melting pot of many ethnicities, with Latino culture being the strongest influence. Throughout the history of Buffalo, the neighborhoods collectively called the First Ward, as well as much of South Buffalo, have been comprised almost entirely of people of Irish descent. Recently, there has been an influx of inhabitants that are of Arab descent, mainly from Yemen, as the city's Muslim population has increased to approximately 8,000 to 10,000 according to an estimate.[24] Since the 1950s and 1960s, the greater portion of the Jewish population has moved to the suburban areas outside of the city.
