Ok beautiful people.
I'm back at the loathsome job.
Trying to get into the appropriate mindset for dealing with school and homework (which I am totally mindfucked on at the moment).
I have been drinking away the part of the day that hurts to be back in the default world.
I feel a really awkward mixture of elation and connectedness with my surroundings and people and in another instant I will feel really isolated and kind of sad.
I really need to hang out with my burners asap! I haven't really done anything interesting or fun on my weekends since I've been back. I want to do something outdoorsy.
Who wants to go on a day trip and have a hike or a picnic or something fun that will help us decompress? This sounds like a desperate cry for help and it is...Be my friend please? HA HA HA HA HA Ok I'm really not that desperate but I want to connect with my local burners. Love you guys

try the Regional & Events section of Year Round Connection category. I'm sure you will find alot of Salty friends

There's hundreds of us in Utah. Great people! Like any dysfunctional family, not all of us get along all the time, but that's what makes it interesting.

I'm in with a WONDERFUL circle of Burners and Lovers alike.

We'd love to meet new friendly folks to connect and share with year round. Did you by chance catch either of the Decomp events last weekend? Fun times were had by all (so I hear).

There are all sorts of small scale events and gatherings all over the place in SLC. Let me know if you are still desperate for companionship

Gee, I ran away from SLC to get away from the people and at burning man it was SLC burners who were a blast- The bar on the esplinade and what 8? Hey you got any good pics of the eyeball head dude -me- let me know! -Dio
