I could see that...but seems he wasnt shy enough to even go out and find a burner ONLINE>
and that poll on how many peeps were lonely...I see only 2 out of the 48 that took the poll.
The Bestest part of Burningman too is the fact that you can dance like no ones watching....more'as...that idea in a bigger picture is you can be who you are...completely and undefaulted!
You go to burningman to GO OUT and see the art and the people.
You MEET soooooo many people, wether you like it or not...heheee.
Ok BlueAngel...How is your BURN planning going?
I think everyone here has given you multiple ways of looking at the burn.
Let us all stear away from helping you make a decession about what to do about your BF...that will probly work its way through the wash....
Now this is about YOU, BLUE!
Do you have a TENT?
Do you have shade structure?
How many Ice chests do you have?
What kind of vehicle is gonna get you there?
Or are you flying in?
Then you will need to think about either purchasing all this here...or purchasing it there and sending it out ahead of you.
oh, what did they do with all the camping gear they bought this yr?
BTW.....WELCOME HOME!!!!!!!!!

Names pinemom, but my friends call me "Piney".
Listen...............
I just read all the latest posts and I would not be on this site unless if I wasn't seeking information and understanding. Maybe I am tooo sincere for some people but please please do not accuse me of Lying about this thread. Life is too goddamn short to waste it on trivial writing on a forum that is completely pointless.
Pointless yes but people do it all the time.
You don't know me and you all can believe anything you want but all I have written is true. I even commented that I realize it sounds like a bad movie because I can step outside myself to see that.
You are correct I don’t know you that’s why I led with an apology.
I have come here for help and for the most part you guys have given it to me. I appreciate it. The info was one sided (from bf) I am open minded enough to come here. So I ask the same from you.........and even though initially bf sounds like a pc of crap for what he did and things that seem like obvious lies, I don't judge until my emotions are controlled enough to use my head..........
I just find it odd that you are laying it out here on a public board and basing his lies on info from people that don’t know you, him or anyone involved.
Another thing I am deeply offended by, is that someone said I could be anti-bm??? That is so far from the truth that I had to smile when I read it (oh speaking of smiling, some of you guys posted some funny shit on here that made me laugh in the mist of feeling bad about this situation, thanks:))
Well the anti-BM stuff…. if you are here on this board long enough you see people like that here. I didn’t pick that up from your posts.
Also it’s Burning Man if you are going Get used to being offended.
Like I said, I don't waste time on stupid stuff. BM is, in my opinion, probably one of the one enlightening things a person can do in their lifetime. I will be going and I will continue to get info so I am prepared.
I am happy you want to go…I hope you have the greatest time of your life.
As mentioned briefly...I have lost a lot in my life, I am not real close to a lot of people because as Unreal as this may sound to some...I have lost almost all that I have loved in my life, except my bf and my sister and my best friend is dying from breast cancer.
Welcome to life on planet earth…. loss happens to all of us.
I am trying to give the benefit of the doubt regarding my bf, but I will know in time, right now I am taking time away and thinking..............and please don't think just one opinion is going to be the deciding factor on what I do, I look at everything...the big picture...
I am trying to give you the benefit of the doubt also. Good luck I hope it all works out for you.
Ok, that’s my thoughts...............
As I said, I am an artist, I am known for large mural pieces where I am from, I am trying to think of ways I can contribute in that way perhaps.

Re: hi
Sorry I'm late on this but I can't let something so serious slide. Especially since so many people I know from Civil Air Patrol that went in the service are now dead or sick.
Gulf War Syndrome as its being called is actually a number of different things. The Clintonistas tested some shit on the troops and shut shit down once folks started getting sick. Some nasty shit was used against us by the enemy. A vaccine tested on troops went all haywire and without research we will not know exactly whats wrong with our troops and why its being spread in our country. There is also poisoning from Uranium and pesticides meant for the Iraqis that blew back onto the troops. But this is NOT news here in America home of Agent Orange. Some of the stuff going around labeled gulf war syndrome is contagious and other diseases are not.

is this contagious if you are in a together? I am reading it is some bacteria that you can get thru sex, sweat, and just being in close proximity if someone coughs or sneezes....

Bullshit.. no statistical reality my ass. Tell that to those that are sick and their relatives that are sick. Tell that to those that have died.theCryptofishist wrote:"Gulf War Syndrome" is something that any somatic oddities of a Gulf War vet get lumped under, but doesn't seem to have any statistical reality. Re: hi
I haven't followed the 'gulf war syndrome' thing too closely at all and only know two people that were in that war, both of which are healthy. I know how it was in the war that I was in, and the only thing I am aware that some of the vietnam era troups had was PTSD.Toolmaker wrote:Sorry I'm late on this but I can't let something so serious slide. My take on GWS was that it was more psychological than physical--same with PTSD; and because of the current trend of all of these new mental and physical 'syndromes' that seem to be invented by drug companies to sell their meds; and the whole 'attitude' of gen X or what ever they are called; I don't place much credence in it.
But understand that is my personal opinion based on my experience and not based on any factual medical or conspiratorial knowledge at all.

My guess is that as virgins he and his partner were not doing anything as advanced as a theme camp.
Also, I don't know that I'd call the set-up part of the festival. Tear down can be very different.

Re: hey
said she paid for the hotel rooms when they got there and that he paid for the rental car......
Wait. Hang on.
So she paid for the hotel room in Reno on the way there and back? Cause there aren't hotel rooms at the Burn. And I'm a bit sketchy that two hotel nights equal out to a rental car for even just the weekend.
This whole thing sounds really sketchy.
Then again, I didn't see my partner for most of the week. But I chase art cars. That tends to keep me separated from everyone and everything (wait, why am I at the deep end?!!) It could all be him trying to be a 'good guy' and leave out things he'd think you don't want to hear. Editing the truth (ie: no nudity) isn't the same as fucking the random chick he found on the internet. Sounds like there is a matter of degrees here.
I can't wait to read how this ends. I <3 the internet.
