Sounds like a great day.ygmir wrote:for these tress, I think so. I've established them all summer in pots, and, the survivors are doing well.....littleflower wrote:you already know my answer to the cognac question ... later ...!
i think you'll need it, too ... planting trees in the snow! is this really the best time to do it?
If you plant them in fall, after the first good rain/snow, they pretty much go dormant right away, and, get the full effect of spring and water, already being there........they awake in a new home, hopefully, for centuries........
I'll take the cognac with me, then.......
and drink a toast to you, and, all the eplayans, and Njord and Skali,,,,,

it was a great day......got the trees planted, snow/rain mix, windy, a prefect day, if you love nordic stuff.........
fell several times on slick rocks, dropped things, etc, etc......just as it should be..........
now, is anyone pouring?
If so, a Yukon Jack and tequila for me, please.......
if not,
I'll jump the bar, well, crawl around, and pour myself.......

Thank you ygmir and Risky**
kahlua and cream please.
I like cowboy coffee. I have found that you should not grind it too fine as it is just dumped in the pot with the water. Most old timey coffee pots did not have a drip filter but often had a "screen" on the spout. they will not filter out the fine grounds that we are used to today.

I don't care what the borg says: feather-wearers will NOT be served in Rosie's Bar.

Just to keep the hippies wondering.
Rumple Mintz? please....
I just dont like monkeys playing with guns...it reminds me to much of a HUMAN!...and we all know what happens when you give a drunk human a gun!
We were suppose to have our first snow last night? I awoke to nadda...
Yes, on hill I guess it dumped around 10"?

in its own mug......just for you.
I agree about monkeys and humans..........some more than others.
I was just concerned that giving a monkey a "banana" was like giving a teenage boy "hickory"...........mornings can be tough on them.........hahahaha (guy joke).........
yeah, we got lots of rain on this side, I see on the news pretty good snow on the summit.
