SeaCompression 2008

Post by Sensei » Tue Nov 04, 2008 12:31 pm

"The American Apocalypse is upon us! Of course, "apocalypse" is open to many interpretations. Will our way of life come to an end? Will our culture be reborn? These questions and more may not be answered, but nevertheless we invite you to come celebrate (or mourn) the demise of the American way with over 25,000 square feet of theme camps, interactive installations, fire spinners, DJs, live music and performers, dance, art cars...and a 7ft blimp."

It's THIS Saturday, peoples! Last year over 1,500 people showed up!

I'll likely be hanging in Zobeewa's bus, which I guess will actually be inside the hangar this year. I'm bringing the First Mate, and she's bringing about five girlfriends... so I guess I'll be seeing you there Sensei!

I hate it when I forget to bring something(s) so I'm makin' my Apocalyptic Checklist and checkin' it twice:

party favors
tequila
party favors
weird ass costume
party favors
4 units of whole blood
party favors
snake bite kit
party favors
lie detector
party favors
lawyer's, bail bondsman's, priest's phone #'s
party favors
thorazine (to counteract all the party favors)

Yep. It's all there.

Only five? I see you're downsizing this year. Still, I'll do what I can to help you out, Captain.

No, please don't thank me. I consider it my duty.

I couldn't get off the dance floor! Made (one of many) afterparty(s) and finally fell asleep around noon.

Sorry, Capt. but I'm sure you were able to cope.
