wonderphil overdosed on bad robo-tussin while listening to old Danzig albums.
he was wearing Oakland raiders Zubaz sweatpants when he was found dead, clutching a warm coor's lite in one hand and his camouflage colored Quiet Riot fanny pack in the other.
the fanny pack contained 2 unopened condoms, dated 1988, a ted Nugent duck call/ key chain, and 3 necco wafers of unknown flavor.

So what if he's not licensed?.....does that make him a bad person?unjonharley wrote:That's the going rate for plumber.Ugly Dougly wrote:To make $1/4 million a year, a plumber would have to charge $100 an hour.
Joe is not even Lic'ed
Not worthy of his pay?
I understand the attempt at regulation and "standards" of licensing, but, it still doesn't make a person any less skilled or qualified, or deserving........
I have no trouble with licensing, for the above stated reasons, but, I've known many, very talented folks who do a very good job, and give good value for service, and still don't have a particular license....
Just sayin'.....
Goodness, maybe someone doesn't like, or, play by the rules?
I can't imagine that not being embraced here.........

Next time you need a doctor call me. I'll fix ya right up..
There are many good reasons to lic a tradesman..
I had to study and work hard to get my low pressure lic. I want the guy with me to know what the hell he's doing. That way I'm assured of going home at the end of shift..
I have plumbed and wired a couple of homes.. Always had a licensed tradesman inspect and ok my work..

Not too high, just a bit off target.ygmir wrote: I see my aim, in making a point, is to high........
In the trades licensing is synomymous with training and your ability to do the job you advertise and the license is the state's way of letting you know that their abilities have been verified.
If a license was a legal requirement in his state and he did not have one, he was breaking the law.
Additioinally, this man was such a 'good businessman' that he wasn't even able to pay his taxes. Consequently he probably would not have been in the position to ever buy his own business.
So, he lied and was not genuine as he proposed his questions to Obama.
The point, as I see it, is that McCain again did not properly vet a person he decided to use as a representative of his campaign and the 'average working american'.

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

I understand all that, and, due to peoples lack of integrity, begrudgingly agree with licensing......
I was just saying, that, not being licensed doesn't make a person inherently bad, or, not accepting or playing by the rules.
Joe may not be a good example, but, painting all unlicensed workers with the same brush seems unfair........
I guess I've just seen at times, better work done by an unlicensed person, than, the so-called "qualified, licensed, and bonded" individual.......
no big deal, just a commentary

Can anyone else on E-Playa say that?
