first timer hoping to pop my cherry in '09

Post by cullen » Sun Nov 02, 2008 9:32 pm

I've been wanting to attend for a while and this looks like my first chance to go depending how my leave works out.

New to the forum here as well.

Hey Patrick, welcome to eplaya.

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

High cullen. Welcome Home.

read the survival guide. then reread it. The 2009 guide will be the same as the 2008 guide that is still up elsewhere on the site, except for a few minor changes, so do not wait for the new guide to come out. In tips and tricks on this board you will find advice on many subjects related to camping in the black rock desert. And you can ask questions too.

check in regionals to find local events and burners.

I've already been hanging out in tips and tricks, and since it's pretty easy for me to come up with ways to rig things up i already have several running around my head.

Cullen, do these things running around in your head, do they, you know, speak to you? Cuz if they don't right now, they will, just you wait. The closer you get to your first burn, the cacophony will grow louder, leading up to D-day. Trust me, I know, 08 was my first burn.

Welcome home, and when you hear that spoken to you the first time when you get to the greeters, well, be careful you don't piddle yourself. You've been warned
Excuse me Ma'am, your going to feel a small prick.
