In need of friends for 2009 burn!

Post by helski » Sat Oct 11, 2008 2:28 pm

Hello
I live in England and have wanted to go to Burning Man for years and years.
I have decided to travel a bit next year and am busy hatching a plan, to travel from South America up through Central America and into the states in time for Burning Man 2009.

As I will be travelling on my own, and also don't know anyone going to the burn or even in the states, I would really like to hook up with some lovely friendly people to take me under their wing and show me how you Americans party!
I'm very open minded, friendly and up for a laugh and would really like to just experience the festival the way you guys do it over there, and it would be great to make some new friends in the process.

I would be more than happy if anyone wants to join me for parts of my journey should you find yourself with extra time on your hands!

Message me if you're game!
Helen x

Welcome home Helski, don't mind us, we're a odd bunch. Now that Simon character, he's the one you really gotta watch
Excuse me Ma'am, your going to feel a small prick.

In need of friend for BM09

Post by kk » Fri Nov 28, 2008 12:25 pm

Hey Helski,

I'm KK and this will be my first burn. Like you, I'm going at it alone. I would love to meet up and feel like I have a friend there.

Maybe we can get a couple more people together and call it "Camp Gazelleschaft".

I am planning on attending my first BM this year. I am going to the Burnal Equinox in SF tonight to get a taste of what's to come. Hopefully I will get some good info, meet some new freinds, and maybe join a camp.

Good luck, hope to see you there.

Hey Helski,

Im Chris from Scotland, hopefully doing the same as you this year for my second burn. Your trip sounds amazing, where in south america are you going? Do you know what your going to do about a camp yet, I know its early doors but i hope its not a stumbling block.
