Let's not forget the seasonal brews! My holiday's off to a so-so start after finding out that my all-time favorite, Snow Plow, has been replaced by a "hoppy" ale. Anyone else recommend a good seasonal beer on the darker side?

Xmas, especially right after, can be a great time to get lights for your Burning Man projects. That's how I got the red and green compact fluorescent bulbs for the "navigation lights" on each side of the Land Yacht.

Thats a funny one for us AntiM!!!

Last year Titwi's sister and us were hitting and missing trying to get our gifts exchanged...she kept telling Titwi that the gift was parishable. He kept telling her to go ahead and Eat it, and not to worry!
And of course she would stammer and try to choke down lafter....come to find out it was that very crystal you posted a picture of, got for us to hang on our tree!
We didnt get it till after the tree was already dismantled...So it hangs all yr long now in the lil' shop of Burners!

Holiday Present?

Post by annabotelho » Wed Nov 12, 2008 7:46 pm

Don't know about you, but I think these calendars are the funniest holiday present yet.

http://www.hotchixdig.com/tip.php?topic ... 09calendar

A mystery fairy left one of the 2008 calendars in my mailbox (4:30 and H) on the playa...

They have sexy ladies posing with "green" lifestyle choices - you know, recycle, bike more, etc. I think some of the girls must be burners - one's got the furry bra / boots.

Anyway the calendars for 2009 are even better - the photos are pretty and the little captions are totally hilarious. I'm giving these to everyone - one stop shopping.

Big dusty playa hugs,
Anna
