Okay, okay. Here's a Steampunk Thread.

Speaking of Steampunk, there's got to be some other Toy Soldiers inhabiting BRC... I want to put together a theme camp based off of this. Show yourselves!

Let me know if you find a good use for more of them -- I definitely have more.

(We're talking about a bunch of small bicycle sprockets for some sort of mechanically themed collage -- I think.)

I'd seen that film sometime back on a DVD collection of shorts and loved it. I'd forgotten to get the name and am glad you posted the link.

Thanks!!

I've got an electro-stimulator at work, a new and improved model, smaller as well.

Goes by the fancy name Lifepack 12.
Excuse me Ma'am, your going to feel a small prick.

Since I have no technical skills or engineering prowess, I'm inventing Crypto-Steampunk. It's Steampunk for clueless girls.

for a steampunk trike you’d want to keep in mind a Victorian era science fiction , a brass head light at very least , but it could get as elaborate as rounded “ streamlinesâ€

Oh and don’t forget wood can work in well too, particularly dark mahogany, walnut, and fumed oak.

Can't understand a word they are saying...

Wait that's a lie, I actually do understand something less than a smattering.

That's all I can find, but it does seem steampunk to me.

Saw Hellboy II the other day... Completely enjoyable movie chock full of steam-whistlin' mechanical warriors driven by red hot gears and lots of Steampunk-ish sets and characters. Much of it was filmed in the Czech Republic.

What I loved about Prague, was my room for the night was up four flights of stairs and behind three locked gates. I needed a fist full of keys just to check in to my room.
