Post by lyora » Fri Nov 14, 2008 5:32 pm

So I am saving up for the Burning Man '09 and I am a little nervous. I have no idea what to expect other than what i've read about it..

I'm going solo so I'm hoping to meet/talk to some BMers before hand.

so, hi!

I'm a College student from NC (in the default). Soon to be LA resident for next August+.

WELCOME!
Where the hell is JK?
Poke around eplaya and you will get the hang of things. There are local groups in your area and you should meet up with some people there and maybe join with them. No matter what, you will have a life changing experience and you will probably be hooked for life.
Brace yourself! :D

Welcome lyora!

What part of NC are you from?

I'm from Charlotte and in the same boat as you! First-timer going solo. I know there is a big theme camp that works out of Charlotte, big puffy yellow, I'm going to be trying to get a hold of them. You may want to look them up as well.

I'm sure there are plenty of groups in this area though.

Anyways, welcome!

Sorry I'm late, had a gallery opening to go to tonight.

Anyway, welcome to eplaya! I'm in L.A., so if you need a guide when you get here, let me know.
