I haven't had any problems with playafoot while wearing open sandals, but I never go completely barefoot. A REAL good reason to wear shoes: "rebar." There's plenty of things to go bump into at night. Also, go to a crowded theme camp and you're likely to have your feet stepped on. Finally, to get the most out of Burning Man, you really need a bike. I wouldn't want to pedal around barefoot.

At least once a night at BM I find myself peeing on my feet and I found that this does a good job of neutralizing the playa dust and its effects!

Yeah, but isn't that a good antidote to too much Mister Jellyfish Mister?

Excuse me Ma'am, your going to feel a small prick.

I found that if you use balsamic vinegar on your feet mixed with a little extra virgin olive oil that they will taste like salad dressing. UMMMMMM good!
