I am wondering why the Red Dragon of Wales is in it?

Where the Welsh behind the NWO? Are they in league with Satan or Bush?

Did the Welsh bring the towers down?

OK, on the record, I am already disappointed with Obama. In fact, I was before he was elected. He should have been more outspoken about Prop 8, for example. There is no such thing as "Clean Coal." And I could list others, but in nearly every case I'd have to follow it up with even stronger objections to right wing nonsense. I picked the better man, despite his faults, and despite my own faults.

I'm not sorry I contributed and voted the way I did. Not for one fucking instant.

I would wager every administration since T. Roosevelt has committed treason, by definition......as each has left, someone brings the charge.......it'll never stick, the precedent would be to far reaching...........

nope.
probably won't.
I'm looking forward........

I remember a scene in a movie, I've tried to emulate it, at times at least, in my life:

a fellow is driving down the road in a sports car......he looks up into the rear view mirror, breaks it off and throws it out the window.
turns to his passenger and says:
"we don't need this, who cares where we've been, it's where we're going that matters".........

kind of struck me as true.........

Yea, I'd imagine you wouldn't understand the significance of why it is important to follow through with the charge of TREASON.
Here's another helper; if you don't charge these folks with Treason, they and others will just keep doing the same thing over and over and over again.

Not only that, but when will Americans start following their own laws?

It is the Law to charge TREASON when TREASON has been committed.
As in the article, Bush, Cheney, Rummy and this administration BROKE MANY LAWS.

When someone like me does not break the law and gets charged with a crime he didn't commit, it's pretty much the same response, "Oops, made a mistake. "we don't need this, who cares where we've been, it's where we're going that matters"......... "

Jeeeeez, you couldn't be much smarter now could you?

I think what you may miss there, is, I've not said it isn't true, I've not said charges aren't applicable.

I was pointing out, that, if you're going to charge one, you should charge them all, all that are alive anyway, and, that it is the case with every administration........They've all committed textbook treason......as well as congress.........

so,
I was trying to say, that, doing that, it wouldn't stick anyway. The charges would go to deep into government, and, they all protect their backs........it would bring government to it's knees.
Not that I'm against that, but, I don't think it'd be allowed to happen.

I don't see the connection with your "false accusation" reference, but, I do agree with you..........

It's true, I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, perhaps I lack formal education (relating to your final comment) . I'm not sure what pointing that out helps, though.
Is it that it makes you feel better about yourself to denigrate me, and, make me feel bad and look bad to others?........
I appreciate the fact you'll cast a glance down here, from your pedestal and deem me worthy of notice, at all......I just wish you didn't feel the need to spit down on me while illustrating my shortcomings and issues, as compared to you, in your omnipotence.........

Nope, I wasn't trying to make you look like anything. If anything I am making practice for answers similar to yours that most people would say.

My point being?

Shouldn't you or anyone that votes want to abide by the law and take charges where they belong? I mean after all you vote right?
Why do you vote?

Is American politics all about justice for some and not for all?
When a criminal breaks the law, aren't they to suffer the consequences of their actions?

Isn't this what is done with murderers?

Accessories to the crime will do their time but the individuals that do the actual crime pay the penalties of the law, do they not?

These people have committed high crimes. This is a fact as Harper's points out.

You feel this should be "just water under the bridge"?

"Forget about it, no big deal"

yes?

Am I wrong in reading what you post?

I think Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld should all be charged with SOMETHING! The torture thing really bothers me, and I think someone needs to be held accountable.

I don't think this would be any worse than the Clinton impeachment or what happened to Nixon. On the contrary, it would send a strong positive signal to the world that we actually practice what we preach and no one is above the law.

well, yes, I do think you've taken my post in a different direction than I intended..........and, that may be due to my poor communication skills, or, our differing perceptions..........

I totally believe in abiding by laws, reasonable ones anyway.....( I'm against a lot of things being illegal, that are as of now).
I do vote.

I have always tried to paint with the same brush.
I have not stated I feel "they" shouldn't be charged, even prosecuted.
I do think, though, all past criminals in that sense should be charged, as well............

IMHO, it's kind of like a cop picking one speeder out of a group on the freeway and giving him the only ticket..........
fair application of the law.
We can discuss, ad nauseum, which administration has broken the most laws, or, committed the most heinous acts.........but, I still feel it needs to be evenly enforced.........

Now, if you suggested, starting now (which would include the present administration), the laws regarding this issue be strictly enforce, I'll stand with you and carry the banner (behind you, of course, on your white stallion, wearing your battle armor and regalia)........

nope, not water under the bridge, don't forget about it....but, be realistic.
It would not fly, now, in this climate, in this congress.
It won't stick. I'd bet, even if tried and convicted, they'd be pardoned by Obama, so as not to destroy the entrenched nepotism and cronyism that exists in Washington, and the "above the law" life they all live.......
and, even if he didn't want to, he'd be forced, by powers much greater than himself........IMHO.........

well, differing opinions, I guess.
again,
I've not said it's not valid.........
but, I don't think it'd go to the end..........and, I think the only, if any, people that would ultimately pay a price would be some poor little third level minion that it would all fall on.......the upper echelon would still skate free..........
I think the entrenched Washington elite have so many "nested loops" of guilt, collusion,, etc, that, they couldn't let this precedent be set, it'd take them all down........because, they'd all start singing, to make deals...........
I'm not saying it shouldn't happen, just, that, it won't.....or won't go very far, if it does......

And, who is "they"?...........

Speaking of the internet, to lighten it up a bit, here's the humorous side from one of the barometers of the internet:

Bush has two regrets; We provide the other 37

Image
Wish I'd been a little more awesome.

November 14, 2008

http://www.236.com/news/2008/11/14/bush ... _10243.php

n an interview on Veterans Day, President Bush was asked to reflect on his regrets over his two terms in office. Bush said he regrets, "saying some things I shouldn't have said, like "dead or alive" and "bring em on." Bush also said he wishes he hadn't spoken in front of the "Mission Accomplished" banner to declare an end to major combat operations in Iraq in 2003.

Okay, that's two! Looks like he needs help with the others, so we threw together a brief list of some (thirty-seven) of the things Bush should probably be regretting right about now.
A Quick List Of Stuff George Bush Should Regret
(Off The Tops Of Our Heads)

1. His existence
2. His decision to go into politics
3. Not learning how to better run oil companies so he wouldn't have to go into politics
4. His decision to run for president
5. His decision to run for a second term as president
6. Every word spoken into a microphone since January 20th, 2001
7. That time in 2001 when he shouted at Dick Cheney, "You know what, screw it. You run the country if you're so smart!"
8. Ignoring the way Alberto Gonzales was always saying, "Geneva Convention, Schmeneva Schmonvention!"
9. Those times when he let Donald Rumsfeld make decisions
10. Revealing the identity of a covert CIA operative. Not cool!
11. That time when he said "Osama, Saddam. What's the damn difference?"
12. Letting the country fall into economic ruin
13. Not getting Scooter Libby to take the fall for some more stuff
14. That "wait for this to blow over" position on Katrina
15. Not learning how to keep from smirking while addressing the nation about certain issues, such as Katrina
16. Not figuring out how to control the weather to keep Katrina from happening
17. Not giving more people hilarious nicknames, like "Turd Blossom"
18. That "Iraq" kerfuffle
19. Not giving more speeches in front of banners that read, "Danger: Under Construction" or "Not Finished" or "This Mission is going to take at least six or seven years, if we're lucky!"
20. Saying, "all right Harriet, you've talked me into it."
21. Never really savoring the good moments.
22. Giving up alcohol
23. Giving up coke
24. Going back on coke
25. Giving it up again
26. Betting Cheney $1,000 they'd lose in 2004
27. Not getting to know Terri Schiavo better
28. Not constantly losing wars
29. Beating Dad's "years in office" record.
30. Thinking, what the heck, it's just a pretzel
31. Not flipping the bird more often at Cindy Sheehan from behind the tinted windows of his passing limo
32. Not taking it as a bad sign that Karl Rove has a forked tongue
33. Responding to a report titled "Osama Bin Laden Determined to Strike Inside The United States" by repeating the title in a mocking, high-pitched voice that made Cheney laugh real hard
34. Not saying, "Brownie, we should sit down for a performance review in the next week or so"
35. Not calling it, "No Super-Gifted Child Left Behind"
36. Those twenty or twenty-five times when he should have offered his resignation but decided to "wait it out"
37. Not doing more to avoid the inevitable indictments sure to come next February once they start finding out about "the real bad stuff"

Did we miss any?
