I don't know how big this is. Not that I think that prisoners, citizens or not, deserve to be mistreated, but the prosecuter didn't show up at court, and is a lame duck in any case. The charge is sort of underwhelming, and the whole may end up looking like a piece of petty vindictiveness, rather than the high crimes and misdemeaners that would be the proper inditement for hte whole administration. I dread that things will stop there; that they will look ridiculous and that that apperance will deter further charges. And that whole "gloating on the left" thing could just be shooting ourselves in the foot. NOt that that's a problem for me, but...

If you look in the Politics thread I have been saying Federal prison would be the wrong place for these folks. They need STATE PRISON.
