Don't go calling other people's children "brats." If you're not old enough to not call names, maybe you're not old enough to go to burning man.

Re: beagle???
I've met numerous folks who brought their kids. The kid's lives certainly seemed to have been enriched for it and likewise they enriched mine with their interactions. There's plenty of room out there on the playa.flygirl wrote:beagle ??does this mean I can bring my dog? howabout ships that are beagles yah yah with all dog crews...p.s. leave your brats at home this is where grown ups get to play

Anyway, the 2008 theme was more "political", and Burning Man seems to have survived.

um, is sarah palin your mom?Because we don’t know what happened before the big bang yet I will start there.
no, cant be, she's an intelligent design chick, perhaps the syntax is yiddish based, as in "Such a Putz is He."evolution starts at the big bang and continues with the words coming out of your mouth
maybe it's sex code, if i reverse it i get "words coming in your Mouth"
so, who is this "words" person.....hmmmm.

so yeah... earths magnetic field is going to shit... there is a very large area of increasing radiation over the Indian? Ocean and well to put it short.. this is sort of what happened to mars (mars has no magnetic field and use to be similar to earth.. water etc.) Any how I Think a radioactive theme would be awesome! GREEN GLOWING MUTATION CREATIONS!! This will be my first year, but I think this could be a very fun theme.

Rest assured that there is nothing wierd gonna happen in 2012. We are a country infected with Millenarianism and it seems every ten years or so it just takes a new form. Whatever the virtues of the pre-colombian calendars, they don't actually have some deep insight into the nature of the world, and any predictions they make about society or the nature of the universe changing are absolutely invalid. In 2013, you're going to be a little sheepish about beleiving in 2012. Just as most of the Seventh Day Adventists of 1844 were embarrassed about the lack of an end of the world then.Toxic Cacao!! wrote:Hard to say... 2012's near also, and that's supposed to be a reversal of the poles. Really I only know what I've heard. I defiantly think some thing big is coming though!
Now you can go on with your life, making choices that are meaningful in of themselves and live without death breathing down your neck. Much nicer this way.

Oh sure Ygmir, next your gonna tell me there's no such things as Pigs on the Wing
Sheep lyrics
Harmlessly passing your time in the grassland away
Only dimly aware of a certain unease in the air
You better watch out
There may be dogs about
I've looked over Jordan and I have seen
Things are not what they seem.
What do you get for pretending the danger's not real
Meek and obedient you follow the leader
Down well trodden corridors into the valley of steel
What a surprise!
A look of terminal shock in your eyes
Now things are really what they seem
No, this is no bad dream.
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want
He makes me down to lie
Through pastures green he leadeth me the silent waters by
With bright knives he releaseth my soul
He maketh me to hang on hooks in high places
He converteth me to lamb cutlets
For lo,m he hath great power and great hunger
When cometh the day we lowly ones
Through quiet reflection and great dedication
Master the art of karate
Lo, we shall rise up
And then we'll make the bugger's eyes water.
Bleeding and babbling we fell on his neck with a scream
Wave upon wave of demented avengers
March cheerfully out of obscurity into the dream.
Have you heard the news?
The dogs are dead!
You better stay home
And do as you're told
Get out of the road if you want to grow old.

Excuse me Ma'am, your going to feel a small prick.

Don't believe, as much as I would like to believe, still a better concept than most. We are due for a polar shift though. And science also has a bit going on in that dept. Ever hear of Nassim Haramein? I think he's at least worth checking out if you haven't.
Besides... with all the theories out there, who are we to say they're all wrong.
