Seriously? Not every script error is due to a hack, not every helicopter is black, not every satellite is equipped with spy cameras, and the people that drive by your house are not all spooks from secretive government agencies. Sometimes things just get jacked up...have you considered that possibility before creating a new thread sensationally titled Eplaya Hacked into AGAIN!? It gets kinda old, real fast.

LOL I often joke that there are some people that are too stupid to own a computer--based on most of your posts, I wouldn't have thought you to be one of those people.

This board has a 'front end' i.e. the part you see when you login to read posts and post.

It also has a 'back end' i.e. the part you don't see but is where all of the things you post and read are stored.

If there is a problem on the network, or with the back end server, then the front end can't communicate with the back end to display the requested information.

The front end will communicate this to the end user so that they know there is a connection problem.

Happens quite a bit. Sometimes the back end and front end are on the same computer, sometimes they are on different computers, and sometimes they are on entirely different networks and computers miles apart. So, any problem connecting with any one of the links in the chain can cause that message to be displayed.

Now settle down and don't worry your little self about those technical things--just do your main job and keep us updated on the stock market and the miserable state of the economy. :D

Actually it's not a hack.
The webteam is aware of it and has a solution.
It's a mysql thing that can easily be fixed and will be fixed if not already.

Ain't that the truth. That's when it always seems to happen--and it's always when you have just written the longest post with the best ideas you have ever expressed! It's gremlins, I tell ya! :D

Funny. No, never wrote porn, but I was in one once--it was straight porn though.

I've known people like this...

I get connection errors all the time from my computer here at home-- I just put it down to having a poor connection, an obsolete computer, and the frequent weirdness that it the Internet. Computers and the Internet have evolved to the stage where it is amazing they work at all! :P

Thats just what the Black helicopter flying, satellite spying hackers want you to believe. That error, according to my sources is an error installing the spy software for BM.

Actually, what happened was we created a mod that was supposed to make Eplaya appear broken only for AZ so he would eventually give up and go away, but it was affecting other users as well so we had to back it out.

I'll try to fix it the next time he creates a new thread about how we're hacking into his computer. Either that, or I'll just hack into his computer again.

In all honesty AZ is one of those folks you just HAVE to do computer pranks on. Like changing the orientation of his mouse or putting a phantom keystoker on. If I had his IP address and the skill I don't think I could keep myself from having his screen blackout and something pop up with Homeland Security or somesuch.

I'll take a aluminum hat any day, Tin hats are out of vogue!

Now that I said that I've posted a link on tribe about a month ago with an imbedded trojan and I know who and where all of you are!

Don't think I did.

Do a visual route search to tribe from your computer. My computer is the one without an IP and no information.

You can down load the free visual route here:

Ha, ha, ha, hahaha!

Merry fucking Xmas!

Guilty Verdict in Cyberbullying Case Provokes Many Questions Over Online Identity

By BRIAN STELTER
Published: November 27, 2008
Is lying about one’s identity on the Internet now a crime?

Verdict in MySpace Suicide Case (November 27, 2008) The verdict Wednesday in the MySpace cyberbullying case raised a variety of questions about the terms that users agree to when they log on to Web sites.

The defendant in the case, a Missouri woman, was convicted by a federal jury in Los Angeles on three misdemeanor counts of computer fraud for having misrepresented herself on the popular social network MySpace. The woman, Lori Drew, posed as a teenage boy in using the account to send first friendly and then menacing messages to Megan Meier, 13, who killed herself shortly after receiving a message in October 2006 that said in part, “The world would be a better place without you.â€
