Hey, YG I could go for some a that coffee.

No turkey for me till the weekend. Instead I've spent a good portion of the day slaving away making tomato sauce. It's sooo much work, but it tastes soooooo good. That and I gotta get the tomatoes out of the freezer so I have room the next time we send a cow to the butcher.

Oh yea YG I finally got around to getting the honey for that mead I was talking bout. There'll be enough for four batches (62 lbs

). The first one's going to be pomegranate. Anyone have suggestions for the other three?

Well everyone have a happy T-day filled with much food and friends!

I"m thinking of making a batch of elderberry........and blueberry........

What I need to find, now, is my recipe....dang, I thought I had it in a folder........I can't remember the ratio of honey to water..........
I got my SS beer kegs for brewing, etc.......I use an air lock during fermentation.......

I also ordered 6 gallons of Everclear, to make some absinthe............

gotta keep the drinks flowin, even if we end up living in a "mad max" society........BM year round.......probably a blend.......

I make lots of Homemade Liqueurs

the labels I posted is for my Dark Cherry Liqueur.
and for the Kona Coffee Liqueur I am making this week end.

I'd take a playa white out with no goggles and no face mask any day over what we have to do now.

Scary....good news is that Mesothemioloma doesnt get ya for 25 to 50 yrs...I plan on being one with the dust by the time it even thinks of taking me OUT!

HI PM
I've heard of a couple of ways to deal with cielings like yours:

cover the floor with plastic.

then:

get the ceiling wet......careful not to soak the sheetrock (try a test area), but enough to get the blow on stuff moist......it may sag it off, or, it will be soft and pliable and not get dusty as you scrape.....or minimally so.
or,
spraying with cheap lacquer (not liquor, silly) in a soaking manner, again, to consolidate the material within......

It's the old "Oscar Meyer Wiener" song..........theme song and song of praise for "those of the body" (see Landru reference from original Star Trek) relating to the Bar..........I'm guessing "Oscar Meyer Wiener" is analogous to one "of the body"
